i had been to this bar once while visiting baltimore and loved it. when i moved to the city a year later i was excited to come back. unfortunately, during my second visit, this place was ruined by an extremely rude bartender. after looking at my government issued, legal ID that i have had for many years she claimed that it was “too flimsy” to accept. maybe this was because i am from another state? idk. she also said that she held it under the light for a while and couldn’t see the hologram but when i looked at it in normal lighting for two seconds i could easily see it. i offered to show her my passport and she refused that as well. it’s very frustrating to be refused service at a place you have been before when you are 24 years old. i’m extremely disappointed that this condescending lady has ruined what was once a...
Read moreExcellent experience! While my bestie was having brain surgery at Johns Hopkins I walked down to this neighborhood bar. I met the manger Dave and the bartender Merideth. Awesome people they listened to what I was going through and they were so kind and understanding. The environment is awesome and so is the clientele. Good music everything from punk, rock, and pop. But it definitely wasn’t to loud. A total non judgement zone. All different walks of life. Great pool table also. I will be visiting this bar every time I’m in Baltimore.
