I'm a huge plant lover. It's the thing I picked up during the pandemic that gave me hope. As such, the practice and business of gardening and working with houseplants is sacred to me!
This store is like walking into a greenhouse. It's like breathing deeply and only then realizing you'd been holding it.
Prices are low to mid in my opinion esp. compared to the other plant shops and nurseries s in the city . They have all the locally stocked goodies you could hope for including 3D printed vases of inspiring design and the love and culture of Baltimore is apparent in the welcome reception.
I've already forgotten the name of the guy that works there but he meticulously grooms the plants and cares for them and is more than willing to help you learn more about whatever you want to grow !!!
So appreciative for this shop! Also Highly recommend coming here if you want to build a terrarium. Lots of tiny things to work with.
Also, I believe they carry the full circle fertilizer made locally and I used One Bottle and couldn't believe the growth on my plants in a week. I highly recommend coming to this shop.
OH MOST MPORTANTLY there is a plant swap at the front door where you can trade in plants you've lost your love for and nurse another back...
Read moreThis was by far the worst customer service experience I have had. The employee, a young man with curly hair and glasses, seemed disinterested and unwilling to assist my grandmother and I. We were unsure if he was being discriminatory or simply careless in his job. It was disappointing to see someone work in such a beautiful environment and yet have such a negative attitude. When we first entered Kelly Gardens, the young man did not even greet us. We had to initiate the conversation and only then did he respond. We found a beautiful snake plant that was exactly what we were looking for, but there was no price listed. When we asked for help, the employee just laughed and said he couldn't assist us if there was no price. Even when my grandmother asked him to check for the price, he refused and we were left to search for plants on our own. We had high hopes for this store based on its positive reviews, but unfortunately, our visit was a complete disappointment and waste of time. I Will let others know how Terrible our experience was. It was almost as if We were disturbing Him From whatever he was doing prior...
Read moreI visited Kelley’s today based on multiple recommendations from my Facebook gardening group. The store is a lovely botanical oasis with a welcoming, healthy vibe you’ll notice the moment you walk through the door. That is due to Chris, the owner, who enjoys sharing his love of plants with others and went above and beyond to help me with my plant selection, for which I’m grateful. The prices are very good, the plants are well-tended, and I look forward to...
