I have never been in this much of a hurry to write a bad review. I began working in the area 3 months ago and, now that the weather is warming, have started to venture out and try new establishments. Was looking for a really good salad and Wicked Sisters came up. The website was nice, food looked pleasing, and they were only a 4 min drive. Looked at the menu and decided on the steak salad which, according to their website, includes ginger soy marinated steak and ginger vinaigrette. I am also on a strict diet with my personal trainer. This seemed to check all the boxes. I called and was immediately placed on hold for 8 minutes. This frustrated me but I let it go. The young lady takes my order and then says "im not sure if you've been here before but we have a new southwest steak salad". Because I'd been on hold so long, I'd already gotten up from my desk and made my way to the car to commute to Wicked Sisters. I informed the young lady that I was now away from my desk and could not see what that included so I'd stick to my original request (ginger soy marinated). She said ok. When I got to the restaurant the bartender was extremely busy. But there was a hostess not doing much and someone dealing with boxes. I thought to myself either of these ladies could have reduced my time on the phone. But again, I let it go. When the food came out the dressings were a bit thick and didn't resemble the ginger vinaigrette. So I asked the bartender if the dressings were in the bag. He checked with the kitchen and said yes. I held the sauce up to confirm I had the correct thing. He shook his head. I headed back to my office. As I opened my box I saw avocados (which I am allergic to), corn, tortillas, and jalapeños (which I do not eat). Looked at the kitchen order tag and noticed that despite my asking for the ginger steak salad the young lady on the phone decided to ring me up for southwest. I knew I'd be unable to return the salad at that moment because my break was coming to an end but was seeking a solution to "the stores" mistake. A young lady got on the phone and said that the southwest is the only steak salad they have. I informed her that I placed my order based on what was on the website. Her response was "that's why we make sure to tell our customers we don't have it on the phone". I shared with her that I was not informed that they didn't have the the ginger. Instead, I was informed that they had a new southwest salad - giving the impression that I had options. also, when I said I would stick to my original request the person taking my order did not take advantage of the opportunity to tell me that the ginger steak salad was no longer available. The young lady on the phone offered no solution and told me to have a nice day. As if spending $30 on food that I cannot eat because the store failed to update their website and staff failed to communicate clearly would allow me to "have a nice day". I would have settled for them admitting to and offering a solution for their mistake. Instead I had to pay for their mistake. When i 1st landed on the website i was thinking "this would be a nice place for company happy hours". But after this experience I will never return or suggest the establishment to...
Read moreI really wanted to like this place but I just couldn't. We went today Sunday 10/24. I understand lots of places are understaffed and this is probably one of them, I definitely think there are things this place could be doing to improve the customer experience.
We sat in the nice outdoor area and the waitress greeted us and said she would be over to see if we wanted drinks in a minute. About 20ish minutes later she finally came over and we ordered coffee and our brunch. A bit annoying but I get it, they were moderately busy since there seemed to be only one waitress for all nine outdoor tables.
It took about another 15 minutes to get our coffee and appetizer 10 minutes after that. The brussel sprouts were ok but very little of the sauce had been added to them so about half of them were good and the other half were flavorless. The coffee was weak and had clearly been sitting in the pot for a long time.
I had to ask when if we would be getting our main courses another 25 minutes later for them to be brought out. The fries were cold, and the salmon BLT I had was ok but nothing special and there was only a tiny amount of mayo on it so it was quite dry. (Like it was a 1/4 tsp right in the middle and nowhere else.)
The waitress was nice enough for the 30 seconds we interacted, but was clearly being forced to do too much. Finally when we asked for the check, we had to ask twice and after another 15 minutes I just went and asked for it from the bar myself. She brought it out a minute after that.
I didn't complain in the restaurant because I wasn't there to make a bad situation worse, but this was definitely the worst restaurant experience I have had in Baltimore.
I spent a long time in the restaurant business, and frankly if they are so understaffed they should cut capacity to a point where the food and service can be allowed to provide better quality. I am sure the place is nice when they have enough people but even with the waitress, a busses and an expo person they were overwhelmed, at least where I was.
It wasn't just myself and my girlfriend who had a bad time either. While I was there I heard the table next to me get a messed up good order, the another table waiting 25 minutes for drinks and the table who came in after us waited nearly half an hour to have their order taken.

Read moreWe went to Wicked Sister’s Restaurant in Baltimore (Hampton)10/22/23 celebrate my daughters birthday in heaven. We were seated almost immediately on the first floor. When you walked in, straight ahead for 4 people . my first vibes were that the restaurant was closing down. later, after speaking to friends about our experience, I was told that upstairs they have another dining room ,a bar, and also outdoor seating, which is supposed to be very NICE!!!! Well we didn’t know about that b/c we were not offered that. I’m not really sure why we wouldn’t have been since our area seemed like it was closing up to the extent that there was a couple booths back by the bar, on the first floor on the right side with employees eating food, I guess their breakfast or lunch. I definitely observed one waitress eating pie. So our bill was $180.+ tax and tip. I had crab dip as my appetizer and entrée. It tasted good but only had a little crab meat, cheddar cheese on top of the rest was cream cheese, My son’s partner had an order of muscles as an appetizer. My husband had A order of chicken wings as an appetizer, and the meatballer was his entree with fries. He said the meatball was definitely on the dry side. Our son ordered the big burger with cheese and all the works. It also had a big onion ring on top. He also had french fries. I have to say that we were highly disappointed in our lunch/brunch. I understand that everything is expensive now but $20 for an orange crush that quite frankly was not good and had seltzer water in it. My husband ordered RYE brand of beer on tap and it tasted like the tap was dirty. Unfortunately we have experienced this at other places before, but not often. My son significant other had a bloody Mary, she said that was pretty good. She had a lavender gin-craft drink, she said it was good. my son and I both ordered a house. Margarita, I wasn’t offered salt But if you’re going to call a margarita, a craft drink, then you need to add maybe a floater of Grand Marnier but it did not, and it cost $ 20 apiece for very sour lime juice, no salt or sugar offered and house tequila. Unfortunately we had a Bad experience to Wicked Sisters. Not sure why they weren’t on top of their game, but I don’t think I will be back...
