Yung's Carry Out — Restaurant in Baltimore

Have taken out from here a few times, and until now it was a pretty good experience--tonight however was a different story and I absolutely will never be returning.

My girlfriend was about halfway through eating her soup when she encountered a soggy fly that was buried underneath a piece of tofu. We were both pretty disgusted and called the restaurant to inform them and ask for a refund. I threw out the soup, but made sure to take a photo so there was evidence. To our surprise, the man who answered the phone was not only unapologetic but outright rude. He immediately denied that there could have been a fly in our food, and claimed that unless we brought the soup with the fly in it to the restaurant, he wouldn't consider a refund--a photo apparently wasn't good enough evidence. When we protested that we shouldn't have to carry a dead fly several blocks to him to prove something that a photo showed just as well (in a politer tone than his, I might add), he hung up the phone!

Beyond the lack of hygiene suggested by our soup's unfortunate insect filling, I'm more upset at the fact that the restaurant refused to acknowledge the possibility that they made an error, and then jumped to the ridiculous accusation that we faked a photo of a dead fly to save $5. Easily the worst customer service experience I've had in...

Always see people say they don't like... The food atmosphere even the people that work there. But I always see the same people. The regulars of course. I've never seen an empty plate The only time that food is undercooked ,there.Is as if you've asked for it to be a specific way .

It's times I asked for the food to be fried hard and I have to get back to work. soI'll say okay pull it out. So again that's up to you the person ordering it again I do not compliment bad service I do not compliment bad food, I do not compliment, anything that DOESN'T need complimenting. ALSO,I wouldn't waste ANYONE'S TIME OR MINE!! PUTTING DOWN, a RESTAURANT. THAT I SPEND JUST AS MORE TIME IN.. THAT I spend in my OWN KITCHEN.. 🗣In the years my lady and I lived in downtown Baltimore we've ordered from Yungs Chinese take out food @ least 10 times in the past 2 years and the food has always been freshly prepared and tasty especially the shrimp fried rice, egg foo Yung, and there fried chicken wings would even make col. Saunders (KFC) original owner proud, it's located in a small shopping center and free parking out front, if I were rating it from 1-10, ten being Very Good, I would give it a 9 and the only way I would give it a 10 is if the food was free (LOL), but seriously mi Amigo"s the staff is polite and fast cookers as well...*so to Yungs...Gracia's for your service to...
