Never On Sunday — Restaurant in Baltimore

All that glitters ain't gold !! This place has totally embarrassed me! This is the 1st place I've ever visited with friends and family that embarrassed me! This place will only get 2 stars because they were good to me in the past, but they are straight trash to me right now!

This restaurant is a place my collegues and I used to order from weekly when I worked in Bolton Hill and we always enjoyed our delivery !! Things have taken a sour turn.

Never on Sunday should be titled Never on Any Day!

I called to make sure they were open because I was out late in search of great food, I went in, ordered & everything went really well. The dining room was nice and clean and the bathroom was clean.

Sadly when I received my food, there was hair cooked into one of my wings. Long hair and it wasn't mine !! Since I've been a little older I don't complain about hair in my food because it could always be worse. The wings were overcooked and hard, & I had a side salad that had bad spring lettuce! It was old and slimy. I was so disgusted that I couldn't articulate my sentences properly to verbally extend disappointment to management, I just kindly threw it in a trash can and didn't complain with a promise to myself to never return.

It was so disheartening hearing my friends and family members saying "we should have went to other place you suggested". I've never had that problem! I am that girl that always makes the best food decisions because I always use Yelp! Epic fail tonight!

I couldn't get home and go to bed quick enough to forget this horrible evening! & the worst of it all is I paid 17 bucks for that...

Um, so I'm not being mean, just informative.. but this place has REALLY changed since I've last been here. So much so, a friend & I assumed that the ownership of the establishment had as well. We asked. Apparently, it "hadn't". Lol. So we was like, ok! The food was really underwhelming. The pizza, when my friend asked if he could get a slice of pepperoni, instead of the cheese slices that were prominently displayed, was barely hot, with little signs that it was reheated or even fresh for that matter. It seemed as if they (the cashier/cooks) simply, just as I joked to my friend they would do silently as he asked for it initially, just slapped some pepperonis they had lying around (lol🤭) on top & nuked it. SMH lol. My cheese pizza was subpar at best; no signs of freshness when I got it (although I got it nearly 15 mins after I ordered it, assuming maybe they made me a fresh slice?🤭 silly rabbit lol 🐇), barely warm & soggy AF 🤨. The ONLY saving grace was the FRIES!!!🙏💗💗💗💗🙌 Now they absolutely weren't the absolute best I've had, but they absolutely weren't the worst!🙌💗 Crispy, warm & the ONLY thing we consumed all of.. the rest went along with our money, in the garbage. I've eaten at this establishment a few times. The food is pretty good however, on two of those occasions I noticed the final price on my printed receipt after going to pickup my food was much different from whats advertised on the actual paper menu. Today I walked in the restaurant and ordered directly from the paper menus sitting on the counter. After I was given my receipt it was at a higher cost then the paper menu prices. I asked the cashier and she acted clueless and said I should speak to the manager standing beside her. He said that the paper menu prices were out of date and the prices on the overhead board were correct. Ok, after reviewing the overhead menu board I decided to take out my calculator and that price was $1.00 more then the paper menu. The problem is the receipt that was handed to me didnt match the paper menu or the overhead menu. The receipt was $3.00 more then both menus. He suggested I talk to the owner. PLEASE CHECK YOUR RECEIPT when dining here and if you order online or from a menu for carryout please double check your final cost/receipt against the price advertised. Thank you...
