Spotlighters Theatre — Attraction in Baltimore

Community Theater is Alive and Well in this unique theatrical destination in the heart of Baltimore's Mount Vernon neighborhood. Spotlighters is an unassuming, alleyway Theatre that hosts a bevy of local and widely-known productions in a unique setting. Spotlighters is set up in the round, albeit more literally a square shape, which essentially means there isn't a bad seat in the house. We work on a boat and come to Baltimore a few times a year. Every time we make sure we see the shows at the Spotlighters. The theater is in the round so you can change seats during the intermission if you want a different view.

The actors are great! We just saw "The man who came to dinner" and it was spectacular! Just great.

They serve wine, coffee and cookies during intermission and its all cheap. A dollar for a bag of cookies or a coffee. Really fair prices. I think the price of a show is about 20 bucks. This is really cheap! About the same price as a movie theater, but with live actors and cheap munchies. Really a great deal and well worth the night! Can't wait for...

Spotlighters Theater is a true treat. The company clearly enjoys themselves during every performance. It may be a drama, comedy, or musical... it does not matter the show is going to be great. The stage is small and in the square. Every seat is less than 2 rows away, making for a very intimate experience.

The view is always changing and evolving. Do yourself a favor and catch a show. You will not regret it.
