So there I was, Wednesday night about 7:40 craving pepperoni pizza. It’s a pretty basic craving, so as usual, I called Bandon Pizza and ordered a medium cheese and pepperoni pizza. I was told it would be ready at 8:45-8:50 as they were very busy. Busy is good, it means our local businesses are being supported so I waited over an hour to pick up the pizza. It wasn’t quite ready when I arrived so I had a seat for 4 or 5 minutes and waited. Staff was busy but I did not feel ignored, and took notice of the fact that they had closed at their normal time of 8pm but stayed late to service their customers. I paid, tipped, got pepper flakes and went home, arriving close to 1.5 hours after my initial craving compelled me to call. In short I was starving. I noticed lots of cheese but not much pepperoni as I put it on my plate, thinking to myself the pepperoni must be under the cheese. I ate the first piece, not detecting any pepperoni, and closely examined my second piece which had 1 and a half slices of pepperoni on it. I went back to the kitchen and counted and found 14 and a half pieces of pepperoni bringing the total all the way up to 16 pieces on a medium pizza. Unacceptable! I looked at the clock and saw it was now 9:15 and knew they were no longer open so I ate my pizza to quell my hunger vowing to let them know the next day. I called them Thursday night to complain and the woman who answered the phone was apologetic, took my info and handed the phone to another woman who again offered her apologies and took my info including my order, name and phone number. She then asked me if I took a picture of it, or saved the pizza. I told her no it didn’t occur to me to take a picture, and that I had eaten the pizza because it was late and I was hungry. She replied “There’s nothing we can do then.” Angered by her dismissal of my complaint I said “Well at least there are other places to get pizza in town,” and waited for a reply which was. . . click. She hung up. And that is how you lose a customer of...
Read moreI have to give this one star, this was a terrible experience..my Boyfriend ordered a Calzone, Hot Wings, and Cheesesticks and a two liter of soda. Knowing the exact location of our Motel (because they came here not long ago to deliver before a pizza) they acted like they had no idea where it was, and then told us the wrong address... two... yes TWO hours later and after several calls after they told us it would be 45 minutes she finally showed and made an stupid excuse about how shes sorry it took so long trying to be innocent to my boyfriend lol and get this 2 hours to be ready and take there precious time getting our order she forgot the two liter, so she told us both in person she would be back this was an hour ago, now they been closed and half the time dont answer the calls, now my boyfriend has to call his credit card company to contest it because they never gave us a copy of the receipt.. the Calzone was burnt its possibly it was reheated, cheese sticks were very bad, the hot wings were the only thing that was good... this is a terrible experience it's now 11pm and we are no longer waiting for our order to be completed and keep us up all night. As a town trying to keep there image up, this business has shown its colors. Transaction happened at 9:08pm (when they close at 9) thats 8 minutes after you officially closed and charged us.....when our card was charged we made the order after 7pm, there 15 minutes away and it's been 4 hours and they cant even deliver a two liter of soda to complete there 2 hour late delivery. (UPDATE, JUNE 1ST) Owner was very nice, and acted in a professional way and refunded the money and gave an discount, and dealt with the people who were responsible. We are very satisfied that the owner of this business understood the image that she is trying to keep up and understood our side of this issue when we showed our proof of our...
Read moreVery disappointed. We are from out of town and wanted to order pizza so we decided to find a local shop because of the times we are in. The phone call to order was rude. I asked to order a to go and the lady on the phone says sure - and that was it. It was rude. We ordered and then I asked for extra ranch and she says well how many? And I said maybe a total of 6? She rudely screams at another employee verifying that we can only have 3. I asked if we could pay for more - she says no. Ok? That’s fine but it was the conversation tone that was upsetting.
Our pizza was ready 30 minutes after they told us it would be. It was mediocre at best. I would rather have bought a frozen pizza from Safeway. It was cold and sloppy and just not the best quality. I could have overlooked the poor quality of the customer service wasn’t so off putting.
PS. The building is also terribly not appealing.
We will...
