This place is absolutely ridiculous!!!!! Have been here twice now and each time the same thing!!! There is no customer service what so ever!!! We stood at the counter for over 5 minutes before anyone even said hello!!!! This visit we at least had a kid to say someone will be right with you..... right with you, huh...... I didn't know that 8 minutes (yes I timed it!!) was "be right with you" Once someone came to the counter it was nothing but rudeness... no "hi how are you?" It was literally "what do you need." Wasn't until after we tried to order we were told that they are out of chicken strips and fries. When asked if we wanted to substitute for something else.... the one meal that was ordered we said yeah sure. The girl failed to tell us that it was a $1.70 charge!!! Would have been ok if we were told first had!! Funny how there is only a $1.20 between a fry and cheese curd. When I asked about this we were inform in the rudest way that they were not allowed to do anything for their quest because THEY RAN OUT OF PRODUCTS!!! When I asked for the store number knowing that the store manager wouldn't be there on a Sunday. I was greeted by an even ruder so called assistance manager! When I complained about all this she got pissy saying that they got hit with a bus full of kids.... ok, that's OK I get that. But there is no excuse for the attitude and FILTHY STORE!!! EVERY TABLE WAS COVERED AND THE FLOOR WAS NASTY!!! I mean really is it that hard to have the kid that is lazily walking around carring a box! GO CLEAN THE FREAKING TABLES!!! I was first told, after repeating my case when someone else had the same problem, she says "well all I can do is offer you a coupon!" Really like I want to come back again??? Not only are we from out of town but having this be the second time where they have epically failed! No thank you!!! I told they Asst. Manager all I want is her name, since no one was wearing a name tag, and the store number!! Once we sat down it then took 20 minutes for us to get 3 orders of cheese curds and a cheeseburger!!!! We still had yet to even get 2 of 4 drinks!!!! After getting our food we are oh so joyous to find that 2 of the cheese curds together don't even make a whole order!! I kid you not I had 10 of the tiniest little cheese curds ever!!! As I was waiting for our other drinks (an artic rush and a smoothie) two other people came in complaining about their orders being wrong. One lady was complaining that they didn't get their chicken strips and the Asst manager tells her "well that's because we are out them." Then why the heck did you even let her PAY FOR SOMETHING you are out!!!! After waiting another 8 mins for our drinks we left completely pissed off to never ever...
Read moreI was just at the Bandon Dairy Queen approximately an hour ago. So around 4:30, Sunday the 26th of Jan, 2020. The speaker at the drive thru was broken. No worries, we went inside. A very nice young man took our order, but the ice cream machine ran out of mix when he went to make blizzards. He put more mix in, then a not so nice young lady took over making the blizzards.
She managed to get the mini made (unfortunately. It was like frozen water and my mom ended up throwing it away) before the ice cream machine just stopped working. They fiddled with it a bit, but after waiting approximately 15 minutes with no sign of ice cream from the machine, I said to the young woman, "I'll just get a refund. I'm not prepared to wait here another 20 minutes hoping it will work."
She replied, "We just got a new system and I don't think anyone knows how to do a refund."
So I waited another 5 minutes or so, still with no sign of ice cream from the machine, at which point I said, "You need to figure out how to refund my money, because I am not prepared to sit here and wait."
By this point the young man had come back to the front, and the young lady says, again, "We just got a new system and no one knows how to do a refund!"
Well GUESS WHAT. I don't care! Work it out and give me back my money, since you can't give me the product I paid for! She was absolutely unwilling to help more than telling me no one knew how to do a refund. If it had been up to her, I would probably still be standing in the store at a complete stalemate. I wasn't leaving without the blizzard or the money, she wasn't willing to figure out how to refund my money. Finally, the young man called the manager who tried to walk him through the refund process but in the end he gave me the refund and apologized for the problems. It's all good, I understand things like that happen, but this young woman's absolute unwillingness to do anytjing to help was simply unacceptable. Thankfully, the young man was able to actually use some common sense to figure out how to help.
I will be avoiding that store. I wont go back to it again. The Reedsport Dairy Queen is pretty much the only one on the south coast of Oregon I will even go to anymore. Awful, awful service from all but one...
Read moreWe ordered online to pick up for our grandkids. Went in to get it. The first lady at the counter was nice and apologized for it not being ready yet. Had to wait maybe 5 minutes, not a big deal. Started driving back to hotel, realized they forgot to give me the 2 milks and there were no pickles on the hotdog. So turned around and went back. No one was at the counter. There was a guy walking towards the back, he turned and I told him we did not get our 2 milks or pickles for the hot dog. He said we don't do pickles. I told him it was a choice on the online menu, and he said we don't just cut up pickles into pieces....we have relish.....a lady hollered from the back and said we have to pay extra for that. I said we did pay extra for it. The guy very rudely says, "I'm not even supposed to be up here." So the lady that hollered about having to pay extra for pickles came up to help...got me 2 relish packets and 2 milks then procedes to say that they were really busy at the time I came in.....
