Really nice people trying to make their business work- I'm sure it will.
Sometimes the clams we get are dead before we cook them the next day, but overall, for Bandon this is the best game in town.
The lady of the business is slightly unfriendly to strangers, but you only need to engage her to learn their life story- this is not a bad thing but rather endearing.
They work hard, having our own business we know what they put into what they do.
On occasion we've wished for slightly fresher product, but have never been seriously disappointed.
Check out their freezer cases for phenomenal beef and local meats.
I can say this- there is no guarantee in fishing, and I know her husband is out on the boat 6-7 days a week busting his tail to bring in fresh product.
I also know they have their heart and soul in their business. Most recently, the wife told us that their husband chose not to go out on the boat, only to pick up his daughter and take her fishing (for fun, not profit).
These are good people, we know how to spot them! If you're in Bandon, this is the only place to buy your...

Read moreI went shopping here and felt so welcome, the atmosphere is exactly what I am looking for when I want to spend a bunch of money. I think we threw down 200 bucks on seafood, and accessories to accommodate our meals, as we had a rental with a kitchen. There was a mix up with a crab and I ended up taking one with me without paying (When I looked in the bag, I was looking for a bigger package, but apparently, the crab was just legs as it had been cleaned). The next day I went in and spent another hunk of my cash when the lady asked me, did you end up with an extra crab? I told her I had, and she laughed, shrugged it off and told me not to worry. She was just going around in her head about it. Long story, but wanted to elaborate. These people are so friendly. It reminds me of being home on the coast in the old days, when...
