My wife loves it here. It is her go to coffee store for her cold brew grounds. We live in Middleton so its a small hike to get there but to her it's worth it.
My 1 experience though was a little sketchy when we were checking out and that is why I am only giving 2 stars. We were told one thing about a price from one employee and then the gentleman checking us questioned the size of 1 of the bags. He was bubbly, outgoing at first and asked why it looked bigger than the other 1lb bag. It was slightly larger since the other employee added the remainder of the coffee beans since the bucket was empty. He wanted to make sure so he asked the other employee and I could hear them whispering and I don't think he was happy about that. He came back and his whole demeanor was off/changed and really quiet. I looked at my wife and thought since he is not talking he is going to charge us more than the pound as we were told. Sure enough it seemed a little higher once he range it up, still not saying anything and also the receipt was not itemized. He should have said something one way or another so I didn't leave there questioning my bill and in my opinion, if you are told something by an employee,...
Read moreWhat an absolute delight! Road tripping through WI, needed a morning coffee stop, and wanted something local rather than a Starbucks. As soon as you walk in, it smells AMAZING. Part of the reason we chose this place was that I also needed some coffee grounds for the rest of our trip. There are SO many options! They are all whole bean, but they can grind them for you at the register for free! If you have trouble choosing, they also offer little one pot sampler bags of grounds, $2.50 each or 3 for $6.75. In addition to coffee beans, they also sell tea leaves and maple syrup, as well as coffee and tea accoutrements. I love that each different tea has a little cup of the leaves so you can open it up and smell what it’s like! From the counter, there are many options to drink even beyond coffee and tea like smoothies and cider, and a variety of pastries and little breakfast options (the Granny Smith apple coffee cake is incredible!). If you need a little pick me up in the Dells or want to stock up on some coffee or tea, you will not regret making a stop at Coffee...
Read moreThis is our new go to spot for buying coffee and espresso beans! Stumbled upon it last year (when the original place we wanted to try for coffee was closed), and it is our new favorite. We loved it so much, we stocked up for winter/early spring until we knew we would be back in the area. The Highlander Grogg coffee is so good! So many other flavors of coffee for sale. They also sell different ground coffee flavors as a one pot sampler. Loose leaf tea is also for sale (have not tried it, but have heard from others it is good). A nice assortment of candy, snacks and pastries for sale. We normally get americanos or their brewed coffee, which are flavorful. We also love the low key vibe (there is a little free library and a children’s table with coloring and some activities it looked like). Right across the street from a small park, and walking distance to the downtown. We grabbed our coffees and checked out the small farmers market and walked around the town. Nice way to spend an early morning! Can’t...
