The Good: The atmosphere is super cute.

The Bad: Food: I've never been served eggs Benedict with a hard-boiled egg anywhere in my life. I'm normally someone who doesn't complain about food, but the yolk and hollandaise is the best part of an eggs Benedict.

Service: I didn't have a chance to ask about the hard-boiled egg on my Benedict because the server did not come by after dropping off our food. I have worked food service and understand when tables are full and service may not be as good. At the time our food was dropped off tables had cleared out and there was probably 2 or 3 other tables besides mine. The waitress walked by a couple times but not close enough to grab her attention and she didn't stop once to check in with us if we needed refills or anything else.

I love to try local foods and give my money to local businesses, but the food here was nothing to write home about and the service was...

I was surprised the burger was so bad. There is no medium or medium rare , they only will make them well done. It was almost gray in color and dry . Sad. There are apples in the coleslaw ( yuck ) . I love slaw but apples make my tongue get bumps, i was not expecting apples. The 3 stars come from them having great soup and friday night fish fry. The smelt was wonderful . Its like going back in time , so much so that there isnt free refills on soda. Reminds me of 1990. pst your cost is 17 Cents on soda, give a customer a refill at 2.25 a glass since it is half ice anyhow. I'll just get water till then. My boss wont go there for this reason alone ( strange huh)

I read the 1 star review below and that happened to us this year . Seated , saw us, said 1 min , 15 min later we left. We have been back ( sadly i had...

Great little classic cafe! I used to go there when I was younger and lived nearby. They always had a great breakfast for the morning after a night on the town... Recently decided to give it a go again and was not let down. The food is still very good, the quantity is good, and the price is fair. Friday Fish Fry with Potato Pancakes and Applesauce!?!? BOOM! Straight for my childhood. The homemade pies are very rich and delicious! The server was very nice and incredibly helpful despite how incredibly busy she was. The only reason for the 4 stars is they don't have enough staff. One server to take care of 12 tables all of which are a 4 top during a lunch rush on Friday?! Hopefully they can find someone to give her a hand. Then this review will go...

I have been to Jen’s twice now. The first time service was a bit slow but it was a busy Saturday and seemed like they didn’t have many servers so it was understandable. The food was amazing, 5 stars… However I’m giving them 4 stars because of my second visit. I ordered the same thing both times, eggs benedict. The first time again, amazing…second time as you can see in the photo it was not a runny egg. Not only that but I could tell right away it was too hard even before cutting it. So if I could tell that, I’m surprised the cooks didn’t know that as well. I’m not the type of person to tell them to redo it (plus I was hungry and didn’t want to wait) I’ll definitely go back…I’m guessing this was just a fluke thing

Fantastic food as always! I love their daily specials. I don't live in the area anymore but I see them on Facebook all the time and wish I lived closer. Huge servings and my husband loves the leftovers I bring home after eating there with my parents. I had the chicken quesadilla this time but forgot to take a picture. It was huge and so fresh. I got the chili as a side which was really good too. It probably could have been my whole lunch on its own. Great service and super friendly staff. Thanks!

Very cozy cafe with amazing homemade food! There Turkey club sandwich is delicious with thick sweet potato fries that are super yummy. And for you ranch-aholics they make an AMAZING homemade ranch! Their Apple raisin coleslaw they make by hand has a sweetness to it, with a slight creaminess to it, really good! Their cherry crumb cake is really good too. Friendly staff and helpful. Definitely recommend!!
