Update: 3/7/22 I've written a letter to their corporate staff about rude drive thru staff. Long story short, the staff person barked quickly at me through the drive thru to " come into the main entrance ". He then shut the window and had me waiting until he absolutely had to open the window to speak to me because another car was waiting behind. Again he barks "come into main entrance " I was civilized and polite explaining I'm in the drive thru with a handicap passenger. I can't come in main entrance. He barks back " pull up in front, someone will bring gyour order out" Just so my fellow customers will learn, At this location, they changed the drive through waiting to the front instead of the side of the building. The man was quite rude and could have saved his breath by simply saying "drive up and park in the front by the new signs" I will never return to this location or chain because in this economy if I'm spending 40 plus bucks I can go anywhere. Finally, shut up with the excuses of being short staffed. You are working in a service industry. If you want to be rude .Just stay home
I did speak with guest relations. My summation is order soup early in the day because it's the same soup all day. They are talking to corporate about changing and making small batches. They make the burgers and chicken to order as well as the fried side items. Soup and chili well... Previous Review: I received a spoiled cup of soup from my local Culver's restaurant in Hoffman Estates. I'm very upset because in this day and age it takes a special kind of evil or stupidity to notice the obvious...
Read moreThe service here is never great but it's the only drive through option near my job. After today, I will not be returning. I ordered curbside pickup, it was estimated to be ready at 2:06. I arrived early and texted and checked in on the website. At 2:15, an employee came up and tried to hand me the wrong order. I told her that was not my order and she asked for my order number. I told her I didn't have one, because I ordered online. She told me I had to go inside to pick up my order. When I politely said no (the whole reason I ordered curbside was so that I did not have to leave the car) she said she would have to go inside and check. Ten more minutes passed, and she did not come back out. I called the store and nobody answered. I went in and the employee was at the front counter helping other people. I asked what the status of my order was and she shrieked and rolled her eyes and stomped away into the kitchen. Eventually I was able to flag someone down to hand me my order, which had been sitting on a shelf. The food was cold and the soda was flat. I was treated terribly and I wasted my entire lunch break, only to receive inedible food. The staff is usually rude and loves to give dirty looks, but today was truly horrendous. I later spoke with the manager and he refunded my money. Unfortunately it isn't enough for me to return to...
Read moreThis is a relatively new Culver's located near the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates. It is conveniently located near a BP gas station on route 59, near the ramp to access I-90. I recently visited a festival at the Sears Centre that included a carnival, craft fair and one of the best firework displays I've seen in Illinois. I stopped at this Culver's on my way to the festival and we decided to eat outside, picnic style, shaded by one of the trees in the Arena parking lot. My kids loved the bacon butterburgers, french fries and cheese curds, which they had after a scoop of frozen custard. I don't condone kids eating dessert before their main meal, but on this hot summer day, their custard would have surely melted by the time they finished eating. My kids can't resist and l cannot deny them frozen custard from Culver's. Our food was hot, fresh and served promptly. The staff was polite and made no mistakes with our large order. One final thought: in my humble opinion, Culver's has THE BEST root beer of any fast food chains in the...
