Crumbl — Restaurant in Barrington Township

I came in to order a cookie that I have tried before but it didn’t taste right and was very hard so I went back inside the store, explained to the employee and asked if I can have another one. She said it’s supposed to be like that because it’s chilled. I told her I understand but I’ve had it before and something is off. She said she will have someone in the back get me another one so I threw out the cookie they gave me and waited. Another girl came up and asked what the problem was so I explained again and she said it’s just going to taste the same if I got another cookie and I said that’s fine I will try another. She didn’t say anything and walked away, got another cookie and pushed it towards me and walked off looking very unhappy. Her whole demeanor was rude and snotty and unnecessary..Iv been to this location twice and both times Iv experienced workers being unprofessional. I love nothing more than a good quality cookie. These cookies are not good. We got a 6 pack to try a little of each flavor since there’s so much hype around them.

ALL of the cookies were overpoweringly sweet. I couldn’t even eat more than 1/8 of each cookie. The kind of overwhelming sweet that burns your throat and makes you feel physically ill. They all also start to taste the same after you’ve had a bite of each.

They’re such low quality ingredients, too. They taste like the chalky boxed cake mix cookies people would make like 10 years ago. I don’t think any new flavors would notice me enough to try them again.

The employees are absolutely terrible there. I walked in and they don’t even greet you, they smashed all my cookies on top of each other I said can you just spread them out in a bigger box. They wouldn’t even let me order from them, they all just stared when I walked in and made me order on their iPad. No thank you. No smiles. If y’all hate your jobs, just quit. The previous time I went I ordered carry out. Took over and hour for them tk bring my cookies out when I was the only order.
