Customer Service and Atmosphere was nice. The food we ordered wasn't the greatest. For starters we had the "Carnitas Nachos". We had the Entrees "Steak Dinner" and "Truffle Grilled Cheese" (substituted the tomato bisque for truffle fries). There was a $1 upcharge. That wasn't an issue. I had a side of the "Beer Mac & Cheese". The nachos were mediocre at best. The Beer Cheese was bland. Tasted more like a food service cheese. The pulled pork was juicy and tender. Very well cooked but NO seasoning whatsoever. Absolutely no flavor. And the cheese sauce was just that. Yellow sauce. There was too many pickled onions. The pickled jalapeños we decided to do without. Had a few chips loaded up but that's as far as I could go. It was also missing the salsa. But even after receiving it the Cheese had already seized up. The steak dinner was a hit but I was told the steak was too tough. Yes it was ordered "well done" but it was still juicy when cut into. It was just either super tough to cut or the knife provided wasn't sharp enough. The seasoning was light but still no wow factor. If it wasn't for the slight char on the steak, there would've been no flavor as well. The mash and broccolini was good. Definitely the highlights of the dish. The side of Beer Mac wasn't tasty at all. Again the same bland cheese. Very soupy. Not creamy and No Taste. I had to add some salt and pepper to bring some type of flavor and make it edible. Just noodles and beer cheese. For an $11 side it wasn't worth it at all. Now....the truffle Grilled cheese. Took literally one bite and didn't touch it after that. Was prepared beautifully and looked so good. I just wish it tasted as good as it looked. Same beer Cheese and some others in abundance on the bread. Plenty of pulled pork as well. Portion was definitely worth it. BUT again...no flavor or seasoning. Same bland Cheese and unseasoned pulled pork that was on the nachos. Ate a couple of the fries. Nice cut and cooked to perfection but no flavor....need I say more? In conclusion, we were excited to finally have time to dine here for the first time and know for sure we probably won't be returning. Service and Atmosphere was lovely but what we ordered didn't keep me wanting to try more. Nothing bad to say about the business in general just my personal experience and taste. But give it a try. Don't let my review deter you. It may be more to someone else's liking.

First time at Chuck Lager's (since it changed over from another chain restaurant) and very pleased. There is a good selection of draft beer, I ended up with Cape May Brewery honey porter. There is a decent menu selection for both lunches and dinners. We had the Kennett Square mushroom flatbread and the shrimp Po boy. The flat bread was good but bread base could have been a little thinner. The Po boy was filled with fried shrimp, cole slaw and tomatoes (I ordered it without pickles) and it came on a long soft roll. It normally comes with chips but I upgraded to sweet potato fries. That was the perfect upgrade as the fries were crispy and the sweet dipping sauce complimented the fries!! Looking forward to returning to Chuck Lager's in the future. UPDATE 3/6/22 - Revisited Chuck Lager's and this time we had the meatloaf marsala and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Both were delicious!

It was my first time here, just driving through with the family. They had some live music A+ for me. Our server was fantastic. She never left us waiting for a drink. She thought our food took too long so we got free dessert . Honestly we thought the wait was not bad at all maybe 20 minutes from ordering to eating. It was worth the wait in our opinion the food was great. I personally had the chicken marsala, yummy! Stop by you won't regret it!

DISAPPOINTED and UNTRUSTWORTHY STAFF! I have been coming to this a establishment since it opened. Food is good, pricey but I guess that is the sign of the times. Was meeting my son and his girlfriend for midday lunch/dinner. When I got there my son was seated at the bar, I wanted a booth so as I was standing at the bar and the "bartender" and waitress saw me but did not come over right away ( This was a Saturday and there was only one other couple at the bar, not crowed at all) Finally someone noticed me peer at them and came over as I asked if we could move. We sat behind the hostess stand again there were probably 5 tables that were occupied in the restaurant that afternoon no one around us at all. My son brought over one of the last gifts he purchased for xmas to give to his girlfriend and myself. He had 5 different color bracelets that we got to choose from. I took mine and his girlfriend picked 2 colors and laid them out flat side by side they were slightly heavy and long so that you can adjust the size. She placed them in the middle of the table an proceeded to eat what we ordered: A bucket of beers, two orders of taco, Steak and Frites entrée and French Dip sandwich. As we were leaving she mistakenly left the bracelets on top of the table we left and within minutes realized she left those bracelets, we turned back around and came back. The table was " just" cleared and the hostess and some other staff said they did not see the bracelets. That they even checked the garbage - Hmmm. Awfully quick say you searched the whole garbage. Where my frustration comes in is the Hostess (later I find out is the evening closing mgr.) said we do not steal we find all kinds of things and there was nothing on the table this is false because I saw those bracelets there and I had my son's girlfriend pull apart her jacket and purse we looked on the ground in the car. NO BRACELETS the only other place was at CHUCK LAGERS! She proceeded to say when they cleared off the table there was nothing there... how can that be the bracelets were definitely there we could not find them anywhere else PERIOD. I then went to the bar and asked for the GM and if they were available bartender with a lil attitude said she is not there but there is a card at the hostess desk with her number etc. I called from the restaurant and she answer and said she was there ..WAIT WHAT? and that the hostess was in her office telling her the situation....and you do not offer to come out???! She said she would talk to the staff but its illegal to search them. I told her well the bracelets are there I know for a FACT and whether or not the Hostess/GM states they have found items before ( A LAPTOP- kinda hard to put in your pocket. Not a good reference MA'AM) and were able to secure them for their return. I asked if there were cameras she said yes ...here is the kicker........ ""BUT NOT AT THAT PARTICULAR BOOTH ... that sits directly in front of the front door HMMMMMMMMMM~

Needless to say, I will stop coming to this establishment and instead of telling my friends to come here I will advise anyone who will listen to NEVER go...

Was disappointed overall. So, on the pro side, there is plenty of free parking, which is nice. I went on a Thursday night game night, and there were plenty of tvs to watch. However, the place is empty except for a few patrons and the group I was with. The service was very good and the server was really sweet and friendly. We ordered our food, which was the French Onion Burger and French Onion soup. An order of Oriental shrimp tacos (3 in the 1 order) and 2 orders of cheese curds. I had 2 titos vodka and raspberry iced teas, and my daughter had a coke.

Now, to the Cons, there were no prices on the menu, so you don't know how much you are actually spending for the items we ordered. The cheese curds were good but not hot, so the cheese was not melted anymore, and if it wasn't for the dipping, sauce would have been bland and disgusting. The French Onion soup and burger were extremely salty, so we talked to the server, and she took them off the bill for us and then gave us a regular cheese burger instead, nothing special mind you just a plain cheese burger, not even with condiments or anything. The titos vodka drinks were weak for $9 each! Anyway we finished up our meal as we were with others and didn't want them to have to keep waiting for us. At the end of the meal, we asked for boxes to go and waited 15 minutes before the server realized that she had forgotten about it and then brought them over. As I mentioned earlier, the place was nearly empty. Then I got the check and almost fell out of the seat when I saw that it was nearly $100 for what we got. I feel it was extremely overpriced for mediocre food and beverages. I don't recommend this place unless you go during happy hour, but as far as us, we're not impressed at all, and we will not be returning. Sorry for the bad review, but I work hard, and when I go out and spend my hard earned money, I would appreciate the food to be good and the drinks to be...
