FoodQuality: The overall quality of the ingredients at Ate8 Noodle House was deeply disappointing. The excessive use of salt overwhelmed every dish, making it difficult to appreciate any underlying flavors.

The vegetables were particularly disappointing, coming across as both limp and oversalted.

Preparation: The preparation of the dishes seemed to lack care and attention to detail. The pork pieces were not just oversalted but were drenched in grease, which was off-putting. The same lack of finesse was evident in the beef noodle bowl ordered by my wife, where the beef appeared old and lacked any freshness.

Specific Dishes:Pork Dish: Oversalted to the point of being inedible, with an unpleasant greasy texture.

Beef Noodle Bowl: The beef seemed like it had been stored improperly for an extended period.

Additionally, the chicken included was dry, affecting the overall texture negatively. Some vegetables appeared fresh, while others seemed to be fried in an attempt to disguise their quality.

ServiceStaff Demeanor: The interaction with the staff at Ate8 Noodle House was far from welcoming. The overall demeanor lacked the politeness and humility expected in the service industry, with a noticeable disinterest in providing a pleasant dining experience.

The excessive saltiness across all dishes and the apparent lack of fresh ingredients were major detractions.

Coupled with the staff's indifferent attitude, the experience left much to be desired.While I believe in constructive criticism and hope this feedback leads to improvements, I regret to say my experience does not encourage a return visit.

Just to be clear, this place wasn't bad by any means. Yet, it was just okay.

All right, first thing:

--This place is in the back of a collection of other easier to get to and name brand places. It's not exactly easy to notice or way to get to. Help give this place some presence.

-- Secondly, the place is huge and at the same time very empty. This is not necessary a bad thing but a non trivial amount of people will take this to be a bad sign.

-- Third, IN MY OPINION, the "guy" at the front desk (the only person) was kind of lacking a personality and was on his phone every chance he got. This, as I witnessed, let to a customer walking out. There was a lady that walked in took a good look at the menu, seemed to make up her mind then patiently waited, then left after a reasonable time.

-- Fourth, the "guy" working the front couldn't stop calling me guy it became so obviously, repetitive, and annoying. This is obviously my personal reaction but it came off wrong to me.

Lastly, there was no thank you or goodbye when I was leaving even though there was a clear opportunity to do so.

Pretty much just feel like ehhh, maybe not the best choice. But hey maybe I missed all the action and came on an off day. Next time I'm back in town for work... I'll swing by and...

What a surprise!!! Seems like owner does care about reviews after all. About a year ago I came in 10 minutes before the closing time and got turned away and just about 2 weeks ago I happened to repeat my experience but this time it was different, instead of being turned away I was offered to buy a food and was told that despite the closing time at 8:30 they would not shut the doors until 9!!! This is great news! Their food is really good and I like the place a lot and this is why I decided to change my original review!
