FoodQuality: The overall quality of the ingredients at Ate8 Noodle House was deeply disappointing. The excessive use of salt overwhelmed every dish, making it difficult to appreciate any underlying flavors.
The vegetables were particularly disappointing, coming across as both limp and oversalted.
Preparation: The preparation of the dishes seemed to lack care and attention to detail. The pork pieces were not just oversalted but were drenched in grease, which was off-putting. The same lack of finesse was evident in the beef noodle bowl ordered by my wife, where the beef appeared old and lacked any freshness.
Specific Dishes:Pork Dish: Oversalted to the point of being inedible, with an unpleasant greasy texture.
Beef Noodle Bowl: The beef seemed like it had been stored improperly for an extended period.
Additionally, the chicken included was dry, affecting the overall texture negatively. Some vegetables appeared fresh, while others seemed to be fried in an attempt to disguise their quality.
ServiceStaff Demeanor: The interaction with the staff at Ate8 Noodle House was far from welcoming. The overall demeanor lacked the politeness and humility expected in the service industry, with a noticeable disinterest in providing a pleasant dining experience.
Overall ExperienceMy visit to Ate8 Noodle House was profoundly disappointing, marked by subpar food quality, careless preparation, and lackluster customer service.
The excessive saltiness across all dishes and the apparent lack of fresh ingredients were major detractions.
Coupled with the staff's indifferent attitude, the experience left much to be desired. While I believe in constructive criticism and hope this feedback leads to improvements, I regret to say my experience does not encourage a return visit.
I can only hope that Ate8 Noodle House takes this review as an opportunity to make significant changes, improving both food quality and customer service for...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant with high hopes for a memorable Asian dining experience. However, my encounter left much to be desired. The chicken in the chicken and shrimp plate was excessively fried and dry, requiring an excessive amount of sweet and sour sauce to make it palatable. Additionally, the shrimp was missing from my order, necessitating a separate request.
The rice dish, topped with a meat mixture, failed to impress, offering a lackluster combination of flavors. Moreover, the shoyu ramen lacked the authentic shoyu essence, resembling a plain chicken broth instead.
Even the black tea boba, a simple pleasure I frequently enjoy elsewhere, proved disappointing. The boba lacked the customary dark color and had an unpleasant taste, raising concerns about the tea used. I ended up discarding it.
While acknowledging that others may have different experiences, I believe it is important to provide honest feedback. I hope this review encourages the restaurant to reflect on its offerings and strive for improvement, delivering the genuine Asian culinary experience patrons expect...
Read moreI had the beef stew noodles and the food was actually pretty decent. Most items were priced at $8.88 in an effort to appeal to the asian demographic as that's considered a lucky number. Portion size was smaller than average but sufficient unless you've got a appetite. So why then didn't I rate the place higher?
The place had arrangements for international tour groups on tour buses to stop there for meals presumably on the way to and from Vegas. The trouble is 50 or more people then descend on the restaurant at one given time. The restaurant isn't well set up to handle that type of volume.
There aren't enough cash registers or staff taking orders to make the line move quickly. This caused the line to start snaking into the main eating area. Even if the staff could take orders quickly I don't think the kitchen could catch up. We probably waited more than 15 minutes for our order of three bowls of noodles.
Tensions were high sometimes as people were concerned about missing the bus while waiting for their food. The staff didn't do their...
