I haven't been to Dennys since the early 2000's. And once about 3 years ago in Las Vegas. I'm here @ The Barstow Flying J reasturant Dennys. I must say the sirloin steak & eggs for lunch with fruit and an Arnold Palmer. Was absolutely perfect. The temp of meat was correct and flavorful with sautéed mushrooms and onions. (See photos) I'm amazed that the food was 5 stars. The server and I believe General Manager was there ,Cassandra. I have to say I'll be back. I thought steak this good would've only been at a high end steak house. Seriously it was great. 11 out of 10. That great. Thanks to the team and management there , ill now be eating at Dennys. Try the sirloin you won't go wrong. Robert the busser was great as well as Syretta a server enen checked on me. They even offered to go cups for my drink without asking. Very attentive staff and clean reasturant. Thank you Dennys in Barstow @ Dennys Flying J team. Don't be deswayed on the store being attached to Flying J.

If you're traveling a long distance DO NOT stop here. Within an hour of arriving, 9am, all we had was coffee and juice, and only saw the waitress, Emely, twice. There were empty tables all around, so it wasn't even that busy. The hostess, Ashley, was walking around taking orders and getting drinks for her. She was amazing. The waitress, who was barely able to be found, came and brought a food stand, which made us think the food was coming. Nope. It just sat there for a good 10 more minutes. Burnt pancakes arrived soon after. They delivered the adults food before the kids. When the kids did arrive it was wrong. My pancakes, though burnt, were luke warm. Cold eggs, cold bacon. The cook and this particular waitress is killing this place. If they had one. Ashley was the MVP, checking on tables and friendly. Aye from that, worst Denny's out there.

Very dirty restaurant I've never been to a Dennys this dirty a cockroach almost climbed up our foot shouldn't even have paid for our food the cashier laughed about it and said yeah they're pretty big around here should get a full refund the Cockroaches are in the dining room they're probably infested in the kitchen the floor was filthy and every one of the tables was dirty under them that's what happens when you have lazy workers that don't do their job too lazy to mop the floor and then laugh about cockroaches crawling around the floor I want my money back and I want the manager to contact me I'm going to send the health inspector to this dump

From 8:45 until 9:05 I sat at the bar, waiting for a server to take my order. I was there for twenty minutes. Five minutes after arriving I decided to start a stop watch ⏱ to see how long it would take and upon the fifteen minute mark I decided to leave. Check the security cameras on 9/18/21 @0900. You can see me sitting there, waiting. The guy working up front walked by me multiple times and looked at me, never said a word until the fifteen minute mark when I stood up and said I have been sitting there for fifteen minutes and no one has asked to take my order. Thanks for the driver appreciation 10% off, I WILL NEVER USE IT!!!!!
