Sam's Palace — Restaurant in Barstow

NEVER AGAIN! First of all... the place is stuffy, it doesn't look clean and it smells like a dirty mop, the service was bad, the employees look mad and they're too busy talking to each other about their personal life to get my oder, lastly...the food was bad, it's taste old, maybe they save the leftovers and re cook it or something because it doesn't taste fresh, aside from that the BBQ pork has too much fat in it, so it's slimy and your eating mostly fat, I had to toss it in the trash. On top of everything else, the food was more expensive than Panda Express which is right down the street. Next time I'll be at Panda Express where the food is fantastic, there's service with a smile and nice cozy environment, nevermind this hole in the wall Panda palace or Sam's Palace, whatever they changed the name to, their food taste like they're...

We saw the sign for Panda Palace after we left the Rubidoux swapmeet Sunday. Smells good tastes good but no sauce. All the meat dishes are dry. Not sure if stir fried or baked. But nothing deliciously sitting in any sauce. Thats different. I like to have a bit of some of the sauce it was cooked in over my rice. Also the meat simmering in a flavorful sauce would be preferable to just dry chicken bits on top of rice. The meat was tasty but needs to be more moist. It's hard to explain. I didn't take pics this time but I'm definitely going back for another try. The food is good enough & deserves another chance for a better...

The food is amazing but the service is terrible if I ask for extra chowmein don’t give me like 2 little strands of noodles -.- plus you shouldn’t be shaking your head at the costumers when they ask for extra like first of all I’m the one who’s paying for the food and also paying extra for more I get. This happens all the time I go there and it’s by the same lady that works there I don’t know if she’s the manager or not but she shouldn’t be acting like that towards the costumers cause then you guys would...
