Me and my Wife stopped by on our way home from Vegas and we decided we wanted some Mexican seafood. So we found this spot right off the 15 freeway. Walked in and the gentleman said we may seat anywhere we like. I thought that was cool. The place was very unique and family oriented. Live the Vibe and the decor for sure. We ordered two Aguas frescas one of Melon and the other Jamaica or Hubiscus flower. Both were ok I guess, I've had better. Good size though. My wife had the #33 two taco combo and she had one fish taco and one shrimp taco. I had A Tostada de Ceviche Mixto which had shrimp, crab, octopus, scallops and you know the rest. I provided some pics so you can see for yourselves. I also had a shrimp taco. Now as far as my review well the food was ok. The service was great and friendly. Staff was awesome. I liked that the food wasnt salty and I could add my own amount to my taste. Would I come back? Maybe if the wife wants but for me only if I have to.Happy wife Happy life😎

Decent prices, interesting combination of food on the menu. Chips were lightly salted, which is fine. The red salsa tasted like Spaghettios soup. The brown one I'm not sure what is was... a little spicy and vinegary. One waitress speaks English, the other only Spanish -- not necessarily a problem for me but could be for others. Had the shrimp enchilada. Unlike the picture, the shrimp is cut into small pieces. Food is piping hot when served. Taste mostly cheese, very little spice. Beans are bland. Rice is normal Spanish rice. The rustic look of the inside of the restaurant was interesting - lots of taxidermy, lamps are antlers. All in all an interesting but forgettable place.

Me and my family own land in the high desert region, and every time after we do our projects in the area, we immediately know that we need to go and have dinner at this amazing Mexican food place, even after covid era pricing has gone up, but portion food and amazing unique taste of all their food and even the complimentary chips and salsa are so hard to no rate it one of the best! Aside from that your kids and young ones will have an amazing time observing and admiring real true nature collection of animals displayed all around the tables, making story short, you have to stop by if you are around or passing by the area, restaurant is located just off the 15 N. Bound freeway!

My family and I came to eat here while traveling cross country during for our change of station. We actually had picked out another restaurant prior to but they were closed early for some reason and we just wanted somewhere nearby for dinner after being on the road all day. First impressions we got there around 6 so it was dark outside and there were no street lights near the restaurant working properly and the spotlights on the roof to illuminate the sign were off for some reason making it difficult to see if we were at the right place. This should've been the sign for us to find another establishment but we gave it a chance still. Before we walked in you could see taxidermy animals everywhere which gave the business western vibes which was a bit odd but not bad. Once we walked in we were a bit confused because it was around 6 typically dinner rush hour and there were only 2 tables occupied and half of the dining room had already been cleaned and shut down for night, even though they closed at 10, with no hostess in sight. We stood there for a couple minutes and then a nice lady came to ask if we were just getting in or checking out. We found it odd she asked with the lack of customers but told her coming in. She grabbed 3 menus set them on a table and walked off before we'd even sat down. She came back after a while and asked for our orders, my husband wanted nachos so he asked what all that came with and she said just meat and cheese but he still ordered it, I ordered a burrito with carne asada and our daughter ordered carne asada tacos which she was told would be meat, cheese and a salsa type sauce. Our waitress then began to leave and I reminded her we hadn't gotten drinks yet we just wanted water and then she brought out chips and salsa while we waited. I'm not sure if the salsa was running low and they attempted to stretch it out but it was very watered down and just tasted like watered down tomato sauce. This was the moment we realized we probably wouldn't like the entrees but still gave it a chance. All 3 of our plates somehow came out wrong and also had no flavor at all which was extremely disappointing. My husband's nachos came with a third of it covered in guacamole and a third covered in sour cream with a slit in the middle of just soggy lukewarm carne asada with poorly melted cheese on top that had already gotten cold and solidified into just one single big piece of cheese, our daughters tacos had no taste and were fried which we weren't expecting, had more toppings than we were told and the rice and beans with her plate were very bland she ate a bite from one taco and a few beans before pushing it aside because of how little she cared for it, my burrito for some reason was ground beef, (which the waitress said they were out of when my husband requested it in the nachos) instead of carne asada and while my plate was hot the burrito itself and filling were cold, lacked flavor and just all in all a disappointment. In the end we all collectively ate about 4 bites from our plates before just picking at it with forks while we waited on our waitress to return. Once she made it back we told her we just wanted the check she did check in to see what was wrong and offered us boxes which we declined. The only good part of the experience was she offered to comp everything since we ate none of the food which was nice as we weren't excited about the idea of paying what would've been an over $50 bill for food we couldn't stomach eating. I really wish we'd gone through the reviews and listened to our gut when we first got there telling us to look elsewhere but oh well it was a learning experience and I hope they're able to improve whatever is going on with...

Location is great. Right off the freeway. Easy access. But that's where the greatness stops. Apparently the owners are avid big game hunters. There are, more then your can count, animal busts and full size taxidermy of all sorts of animals. Not a pleasing environment, personally. Service was slow, nice, but slow. Never came back to our table for drink refills. Which would explain why they provide such huge drink cups. Chips and salsa are horrible. Chips are over cooked, borderline burnt. Salsa was just water with tomatoes and onions. Absolutely no flavor at all. Which pretty much describes the rest of their food. Everything was EXTREMELY bland. I ordered the Carnitas tacos. The corn tortillas were horrible. They had a similar texture to pita bread. My dad had the carne asada which was served on a fajita skillet. Which caused the bland steak to be burnt by the time he got half way through the meat. My mom had the chile Verde. All it was was watered down tomatillo sauce with way too much lime. In the end, we waited for quite some time for the check. Which we ended up having to flag down the waiter anyways. Would not be going back to this restaurant again. Sad, because we really enjoy the Casa Jimenez down the...

Stopped on our way to Vegas. Service was attentive and food was quick. The dining roim is full of taxidermied animals. Like everywhere you look. It was fine but not inviting or comfortable. At least the animals looked cleanish and not dusty.

I really hate to leave a negative review but maybe the proprietors will hear this.

Bought 3 burritos, 2 chile rojo and one chicken. The friendly server gave me one salsa that was super, super spicy. I am born & raised in Southern California, I like spicy. This was OVER the top. I actually went in and asked for any other salsa. I got one that seemed like straight tomato sauce and a pico de gallo that tasted like dirty dish water. Ugh.

The chicken burrito was just boiled chicken breast, really tough and chewy from being frozen Im sure. Beans were bland as was the rice which was overcooked and very light pink as it had hardly anything in it. Probably the worst burrito I have ever had and I have been around in my 50 years. I was hungry too and could only force myself to eat half. My husband and son like their burritos about as much and we wound up throwing them all away, which I NEVER do. Not a princess here but this was inedible and a big waste of money.

Sorry...
