McMae's Tavern & Grill — Restaurant in Bartlett

Food is garbage. Literally the worst pot roast I've ever had. Was overcooked and dry. The tiny amount of instant mashed potatoes were buried underneath a brown gravy and carrot slop, topped with breaded onion strings that reminded me of low quality cafeteria food. Had to spit out the few pieces I tried because they weren't chewable. Commented to the bartender/server that it was not edible and that the medallions I ate previously were not good either. She tells me that they've been serving this all day and everybody loved it, and that people love their medallions. Ummm......you serve me low quality food and it's my fault for not choking it down and saying I like it?? Who trains their wait staff and their cooks? AVOID THIS PLACE. BAD FOOD, HORRIBLE...

The 2 times we have been here the music was EXTREMELY loud. It felt like my husband and I were walking into a club in our 20's. We thought maybe it was a one off but in going back a second time we experienced the same thing. We asked the waitress to turn it down and she didn't seem thrilled about the request. It seemed to get a little quieter for about 5 mins and then it was right back up. Mind you we were there at normal dinner time of 6 or 7pm. The food was excellent but unfortunately my steak, potatoes and broccoli came without the broccoli. Food here is usually great! Had a bit of an unpleasant experience with a small, blonde bartender though. We arrived to pick up food and there was no one at the bar area. The blonde waitress/bartender then comes out and says kind of timidly, "who's next?" And my boyfriend proceeds to say we were next and she continues with the other people at the bar area. My boyfriend just said "ok" and then she proceeds to say, "when you say that I can hear you, I'm not deaf." Kind of passive aggressive..not sure if it was just an off night for her, but this was just rude...
