This location has been going down hill for awhile now but after my latest visit I’m just done with this location.
Just some notes, I understand fast food often gets Karen like individuals that complain about really small stupid things, you’ll have to take my word for it but I’m not one of those people. I’m a patient person who has worked quite a few retail jobs and I have given this location benefit of the doubt for quite some time, I’ve also never written a negative review in my life this is the first time I’ve been compelled to do so. Additionally my experience is through the drive thru around lunch hours only so I can’t speak for how service might be inside or other times of the day.
Employees that takes orders and your money are the only good part of their drive thru experience, they’re polite and quick and as I’ll explain later actually punch in your order correctly.
Get to the handout window though and 90% of the time the staff there will be rude and sloppy, they won’t even acknowledge you and just thrusting stuff out the window at you often missing either parts of your order like drinks or simpler things like straws in the bag and when you ask for those items they get visibly annoyed with you, rolling eyes or huffing, before handing you what is at best something they should be giving you (like a straw) or at worst something you actively payed for (drinks, frosties, etc). Then there’s the food which often is made incorrectly and not due to incorrectly being punched in, like I said order takers are doing fine and every time I checked why my order was prepared incorrectly the receipt is correct so it’s the kitchen making the mistake.
My last visit is what compelled me to write this review as everything described above happened again got to the handout window the woman didn’t acknowledge I was there which was fine but then I got my bag handed and drink handed to me but no straw in the bag, I apologized and asked if I could please get a straw to which she rolled her eyes at me grabbed a straw and thrusted it angrily out the window. After I parked to eat I noticed my sandwich wrapper looked like it was just thrown in the bag half wrapped and when I opened the sandwitch was a mess with everything falling apart, condiments all over the wrapper and on top/bottom of the bun, and the part that actually bugged me is it looked smashed or crushed, not intentionally it appeared more like someone tried to quickly and lazily wrap the sandwich and smashed it in the process. Lastly the part that pushed me over the edge was the sandwich was missing a few I guess “toppings” for example there wasn’t any cheese (also I didn’t ask for any additional toppings these are just toppings that come with the sandwich and they were missing) I’ve had to go back many times with this location for getting my order wrong or missing items like this before but this time I just decided I’m done, not going back to correct my order and deal with attitudes instead I’m just not giving them my business any longer. I’d recommend unless things really change at this location you avoid spending money here as well.
TLDR: The only good thing here are the polite order takers, everything else expect attitudes, having to double check everything to get what you payed for, and even then poorly put together or smashed up food, just awful service pretty...
Read moreI haven't been to this Wendy's for several months because of poor service. At the request of my daughter, I tried it again today. Nothing seems to have changed. Sat in the drive-thru for 5 minutes, listening to the gentleman 2 cars in front of me at the microphone having to keep saying 'Hello, hello'. I decided to pull around and walk in. I inquired about it and was met with, 'he must not be pulled all the way to the sensor', (yet he's sitting right in front of the microphone), as she dismissively walks away and the other manager turns towards me with a smirk on her face. The young associate at the counter was pleasant, in spite of the poor leadership guiding the shift.
This Wendy's could really use some attention from its area manager or franchise owner or corporate team. There's no sense of 'we're glad you're here'. I will not return for quite some...
Read moreCharging stations at the high top table, cozy fireplace seating and cleanliness make this one of the best Wendy’s locations we’ve been to in over a decade, possibly ever. If all Wendy’s were like this they’d recapture our steady business. Excellent service today. (We currently live in South Florida and haven’t seen any Wendy’s locations with good service or floor layout like this.)
Wendy’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich doesn’t bother Steve’s stomach, which is huge because he can’t take it at other restaurants. He says it wakes him up but doesn’t kick up his colitis. Its fire comes from an invisible spice, he’s guessing cayenne. It’s not drenched in vinegary hot sauce.
