I ordered a coffee the way I like it and the drive through person gave me attitude because I asked for Carmel around the cup, she told me that it won't stick and that we really don't do it for iced coffees. I told her it's not her place to tell me how to order my coffee if I pay for the extra Carmel around my cup then put it there I don't care if it don't stick I don't care if it goes to the bottom your there to take my order, take my money and make my coffee the way I want it. I don't need a child telling me what i can and can't have in my coffee and what it does to the coffee or so on this pissed me off I'm like really why give me attitude when I asked for extra Carmel nicely and then give me grief at the window so uncalled for
I went back recently and I went to collect my rewards for free drink I clicked the right one and when I told her I want to redeem my points she told me I saved .50 I said no I clicked on the one for free drink. I got told that they don't know how to work the app or how the redeeming of points wprk because they arnt trained on it. Read moreI went through the drive through Labor Day evening and they were out of chocolate peanut butter and cotton candy so we went inside to see what they had. There were 5 people ahead which took a while. Then after the line in front us cleared they moved to clear the drive thru while we waited. I started to get irritated because one lady came in and asked how she could help but never acknowledged us. Then the other young lady disappeared to the back instead of helping us. The whole time no one acknowledged us standing there for 20 minutes( literally 20 minutes) . The young lady comes back up to the front and ask if she can go home and the lady doing everything says yes. At That point I threw my hands up and grabbed my daughter (who was in tears) and left. Read moreOkay. I used to go to DD a lot but their quality control here is poor at best. I always order an iced coffee with no sugar, cream, and sometimes a flavor shot which has no sugar in it. Whether I order in person or on the app, it's always a hit or miss. Three times out of five they put sugar in my drink or a sweet flavor swirl.
This used to happen a few years ago with different employees and I stopped going. I began ordering again regularly later and the same thing began happening... so I stopped. Recently I began using the app and started going again. You can't mess up or mishear something that's in a system in front of you, right? Sadly, you can.
I'm not sure why different employees each year can manage to make the same mistake. I wish the rest of my life was as predictable as DD is when it comes to screwing up my order. Suffice to say, I'm officially breaking up with Dunkin Donuts.
