Frankie's Dawg House — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

We have been here a total of 2 times. 2/2 times were a complete disappointment. Y’all better decide whether or not you are dog friendly or not!! Cedardale location allows dogs. Dogs encouraged, in fact! We came to support the Siegen location within the first few days of opening because we love Cedardale Frankies but recently moved across town. The first time we went with our two small dogs, we were told this location was not dog friendly by the employee. After leaving a negative review due to the disappointment, Frankies reached out and told me the Siegen Ln location IS in fact dog friendly and I took down my review. They lied!! Today was my first time trying Frankie's and it was really good. The dog was fresh with the perfect pop when you bite into it. Grilled to perfection. The onions and jalapenos were flavorful and grilled to perfection as well. The bun didn't get soggy at all. Ate here for lunch on a weekday. It was my first visit. I got the Chuck Norris dog with fries. It was delicious. It was definitely the best hot dog that I have ever had. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. This probably isn't the cheapest place to go for lunch in Baton Rouge but it sure is good. If you are a hot dog fan, they have lots of variety.
