This was my first eating here. It was okay. I was completely lost on how the flow went. I ordered a chicken panini with a salad. I think staff all assume customers have been there before. Okay, if you order a sandwich it comes with chips (you can not substitute the chips). I believe the manager special is when you get the salad added. Once you pay, you walk down the bar and pick up a tray (which I didn't do). PLEASE KEEP YOUR RECEIPT. The lady asked me if I wanted my receipt, and I said no. They give you a number for your table. I got me a drink and sat at my table waiting. Well when I got my food, she asked if I had a salad I said yes. She told me I had to go back up to the bar and get a bowl and tray. I would like to see a location close enough to LSU that the students, faculty, & staff would be able to make it a lunch destination. Unfortunately, the Citiplace location is a bit far for campus dwellers to make during a lunch break, but Jason's is exactly the kind of place that needs to be practically on-campus. Another extremely lucrative location would be the rapidly-growing Prairieville area. Popular restaurants like T.J. Ribs and Juban's have opened locations in this area and are doing incredible business. (Due to your meager 2 locations I only eat at Jason's Deli about 1-2 times a year. Yes, a year. I really do hope you open more locations and soon! Thanks.)
The place is very nice and remarkably clean. Service was friendly and efficient. The sandwiches were wonderful and the soup was really good. I would eat at Jason's Deli weekly if they had a location near me, but they don't seem interested in expanding which is a shame. Both locations are always busy and there are large areas of the metro area where more...
Read morei went to jason’s deli last week and i ordered a club royale and i informed the lady taking my order that i need my meat extra hot due to me being pregnant and not being able to eat cold sandwich meat, she was more than happy to accommodate me and suggested ways to make my meal and experience better. i returned today and though she wasn’t there i ordered the same sandwich and asked the guy with the ponytail to take my order and i informed him of my sandwich needs. he was very happy to accommodate. once i got my sandwich i noticed that it was not heated and asked if they could remake it, he was very kind, and helpful. he happily had my sandwich remade, checked the temperature and gave it to meat at a warm temperature. great service ! thanks...
