Mary Lee Donuts — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

Placed my order at 8:51 am. 2 glazed donuts & a jalapeño gnocchi. I was desperate & hungry…only place to get breakfast quickly near my nail salon. Once again they gave me cold donuts & a dry gnocchi. In addition, their donuts are way smaller than the other Mary Lee’s location…not sure what that is about. I returned the food to them and didn’t even ask for a refund. No one offered me hot fresh food, no one apologized, they could care less. If you do not go there first thing in the morning OR if you’re not ordering a large order…you will NOT receive hot fresh food from this location. I will stick to the Jones Creek & Jefferson Hwy locations. FYI: the owner was looking dead in my face when I returned...

I gave the rating of 2 stars, because in spite of the extremely rude female employee in the front. The donuts were still delicious. I am speaking of the shop on Perkins Rd in Baton Rouge . Every time ive gone its been the same story. And i wonder if it's just me or if others have shared the same negative experiance. I've been going to this location for donuts for 30 years. Started going with my family after church, and now I take my kids. The staff is courteous and fast. The donuts are the best I've found in the world. I mean that literally. The basic glazed donut tops any other glazed donut I've found in any country or continent I've visited.
