Po-Boy Express — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

PLEASE CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE THIS PLACE!!!! 11:01 P.M I’m LIVID !!!! Came to Poboy express on Perkins,mind you I called and ordered before I left home ! Drove 26 mins to this place because I love there poboys but this Location was my first time ordering here after reading the reviews!!! Talk to the cashier ( same cashier repeated my order (2) times and he did as well (2) times get there at 9:02 P.M. to pick up order and yes they close at 9:00 P.M. but because I was coming so far and I kept in contact with him as I was traveling!!! Get to the drive thru to pick my order up and pay for it but I Thanked him first for waiting for me !!! Pay for my food pulled off !!! Get HOME AND THE ORDER WAS WRONG!!! DID NOT ORDER A PHILLY CHEESE STEAK BUT HE GAVE ME ONE WITH MAYONNAISE AND I AM ALLERGIC TO MAYONNAISE THATS WHY I STRESS IT TO HIM NO MAYONNAISE!!! Pictures shows he put MAYONNAISE PLUS DID NOT ORDER A PHILLY CHEESE STEAK POBOY I ORDERED (2) of the same sandwiches just one WITH/ OUT MAYONNAISE!!!! I WILL BE THERE TOMORROW AS SOON AS I GET OFF / BEFORE THEY CLOSE !!!!! Almost $30.00 for this order traveling almost 30 mins just to get Home too the wrong order !!!! Can’t spice and there’s JALAPEÑO PEPPERS AS WELL!!! I really wanted to eat so I tried to eat it didn’t see the mayonnaise until after I’m PIZZZZZZZZZZ/ LIVID !!!!!

OAN: when I called to order he was VERY POLITE AND COURTEOUS each time I called !!! Didn’t want to leave they out and he also waited for me when he would’ve been close if he wasn’t waiting for me !!...

This only pertains to Perkins rd. I frequent po-boy express a lot. The fried chicken po-boy is my favorite. I often go to Florida st. Great service. I went to Perkins rd 11/13/24. I ordered the number 11. It took her at least 30 seconds to even greet me. When I get to the window she’s on her phone with her headphones in. She rung me up for a number 12 which I don’t even eat because I don’t eat sausage. I forgot to get the combo she told me it would be five dollars and some change. I said she could have just offered it to me since I did purchase the sandwich and she tells me. I’m not the manager. She was just very unfriendly. I’m not looking for a handout, but with the nonchalantness she had and just not good customer service I will never visit this location again. Not because of the five dollars. Because I refuse to give my hard earned money to nasty people. Treat people how you want to be treated as I also work in customer service. If you don’t want to work in customer service. DONT. Will Montoya is the Manager of this location and very friendly. We both had a Shrimp PoBoy which was flavorful and excellent. One order had their shoestring onion rings which they serve with a special sauce. The other order had French Fries and all was seasoned nicely.

There is an asphalt parking lot with a handicap space next to the wheelchair ramp. They have high chairs, a TV, bar seating are with stools, double booths, nice granite tabletops, the booth, seating was comfortable.

It was a bit chilly so he adjusted the temperature for us. The food was plentiful and just over $21.00 for the 2 of us. I am bringing half of my food home.

I took pictures for you all to see including Will in one, with his permission. They use Waiter app for food delivery and have a drivethru. The diningroom was not busy but drivethru had several cars on it when we left.
