I would NEVER EVER EVER EVER go to this Sonic again, ok?!? We went on Easter Sunday around 2 p.m., and the service was so slow without communication of why. I only ordered 2 simple combos. When I finally got the food around 2:50, my cheeseburger was cold, and I had to wait on a chicken sandwich that had just been "dropped." But, the fries and tots were hot. I was hesitant to send my burger back because you hear all the stories about ppl doing stuff to returned food, but I wasn't about to sit and eat cold food ESPECIALLY since we were still waiting on the chicken sandwich. I sent it back, waited 15 minutes, and the car hopper (Keon) brings out an order.. I looked in the bag..onion rings, and something else...I gave it back, told him that's the wrong order and what I was waiting for. He said ok, and he took it to the correct car. The chicken sandwich comes out 10 minutes later, hard and overcooked! In another 10 minutes, my cheeseburger comes out hard and overcooked! Why not WAIT and bring ALL my food out TOGETHER, HOT.. I don't know. After not being able to eat my hard, overcooked burger, my daughter reminded me of the same thing happening the last time we visited!! Read moreI ordered a slush on the app and then when I got there waited 20 minutes before getting out of my car along with another customer that told me he was also waiting on the same drink for 20 minutes.
The employees didn't seem to have a clue what was going on. One asked if an order was mine and I even told him I had been sitting there waiting on just a drink. He ignored me. Also, he needed to pull his shorts up. It was very unprofessional.
The employee I spoke with about my order was very rude. She had an attitude when I made it clear I was upset that they just let us sit there for 20 minutes and never bothered to come tell us they weren't making those drinks at the moment.
I had somewhere I needed to be and thought I had allowed plenty of time, but I ended up being late and STILL never got my drink. She kept trying to argue with me about the fact that I didn't want anything else, just my money back. She just wanted to try to make excuses and say it was happy hour and they were busy. I'm sorry, but that's not an excuse. This is a VERY poorly run business. Read moreLast night on our way home from dinner my girlfriend and I were craving Sonic ice cream. We specifically did not order dessert at the restaurant because we wanted our favorite Sonic Blasts. We pulled in at 9:55 already knowing what we wanted. I pressed the famous red button and a nearly unintelligible female voice came over the speaker and said "uh uh we closed." There were at least 5 other vehicles in the drive in slots around us and even carhops still delivering food. We thought maybe they closed at 9pm or 930pm until we looked online and confirmed the store, in fact, is open until 10pm. We were there a full 5 minutes before closing and only wanted ice cream. Such a shame your company, which is one of the very few fast foods retaurants I will frequent due to horrible customer service everywhere else, has begun to exhibit the same terrible customer service I can get at any of your competitors. Sadly, this isn't the first time your Baton Rouge stores have done this.
