Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Battle Creek

This is petty but I live 3.6 miles away from hungry howies and they don't deliver? Why even have delivery options if you don't deliver. Now I'm hungry AND annoyed. Papa John's it is I guess (which is ALSO 3.6 miles away and NOT a liar about their delivery option btw). Hungry howies is usually pretty good in other places I've had it and I did actually did do pick up ONE time forever ago (because I happened to be out and would be driving past them on my way home anyway so why not) and it was fine so if you feel like driving and doing pickup here I imagine it'll be fine. Which I have literally never in my life WANTED to do btw. Nobody orders pizza because they WANT to go get it. You order pizza when you're a lump of a person who would rather starve than get up and cook. The ONLY pizza I'll begrudgingly get up and go for is Jets pizza and you, Mr. howie, are not even in the same stratosphere as that astronaut dude. Seriously, go try a jets pizza (which heads up, is EXPENSIVE af just so you're not price shookith)and then come here and get a pizza and tell me if it's worth the gas to drive here. Jets isn't even worth it 99% of the time despite their quality being superior in every way to any pizza chain because they're so expensive AND I gotta get up? nah. Anyway... Don't say you deliver if you don't. Otherwise you'll get a chapterbook of a review encouraging people to go to two different chains. Actually Three: dominos isn't THAT bad you guys. Give it a shot, the quality has come a long way. $6.99 for a medium two topping pizza? Come on. That's a good deal even IF it tasted like cardboard (which it doesn't) you earn a free pizza after a (totally reasonable) number of purchases too. I like to save them up and get like 3 at once lol. Plus with how cheap the pizza you can buy alcohol with the money you saved and everything tastes good when you're age 21+ and...

Ordered from these folks while in Battle Creek. Upon eating my pizza I quickly realized it wasn't made properly. WAY TOO HOT. Their Italian Seasoning contains red pepper flakes...WHO KNEW it contained that many. The managers weren't going to replace the meal but upon me returning all but ONE piece I threw out and a bit of an argument they replaced the pizza. I was very worried that upon arguing amongst themselves about who was going to hit their VAPE pen first; whether or not my food was safe. I was actually glad they at LEAST gave me that. 1: I'm not from that area and used a quarter of a tank of gas going there 4 times total.quick math @ 4.35 gal. Close to $20, which is what I paid for dinner. Let's add time....25 min there and back each time (add accordingly) and stress of realizing I couldn't feed that to my husband (I tried a slice, I was starving) so having to stop AGAIN and spend another $20 for dinner while on my way home from.....getting dinner. Quite disappointed. I understand people that scam or what not. But for God's sake I had dang near a whole pizza PLUS the receipt people....Moral of story....treat the GOOD CUSTOMERS a little better. Just ordered delivery and was called about 30-35 minutes after our order was placed and was told that we are out of their radius and that they can’t deliver to us. The manager said we could come pick it up if we wanted to. The pizza should have already been on its way to us as they said it would be 45 minutes. A simple “we made a mistake and I’m really sorry but in the future, we won’t be able to drive the extra .4 miles to you” would have been a much better approach then the manager saying “we have new people and I haven’t been here for a while” so we won’t deliver it. The way the manager handled her employees simple mistake was beyond wrong and then cutting me off while on the phone so I could barely say a word made it even worse.
