Ininital impression Started well enough, friendly greeting and nice atmosphere. Somehow, my mobile order didn't exist in their system (correct store, and had confirmation message for proof). They were great about adjusting and getting the food out swiftly.
Food The good remarks end here, the Garlic Parmesan Wings were poorly seasoned/sauced to say the least. They were drizzled with what can only be described as some sort of Alfredo sauce, and not a good one either. Go to a Wingstop and marvel at the difference, seriously. No one does Garlic Parm wings that bad. Not a fault of the service if that is indeed the intended procedure. It definitely isn't for me. The "sweet heat" tastes strikingly like sweet n sour sauce + a few red pepper flakes. That heat scale can't be accurate. I love spicy foods, and a diversity of flavors. This couldn't decide what it wanted to be lol.
After experiences... Almost immediately after the Garlic Parmesan wings my stomach was roiling; cramps for the better part of the evening. Needless to say, something didn't go right in that kitchen to involve one having extended food poisoning symptoms for hours without end. Actively experiencing hell, thought I'd save the next individual and encourage y'all to be prepared to be disappointed if wings are what you're into (like myself). Maybe give other menu items are try, shrimp basket used to be good.
Pros •Friendly service •Responsive management •Expedient delivery •Tenders are unbreaded, but still shockingly good.
Cons •Wings... That forgot how to be wings •Dry, dry biscuits. Lee's knows how to make a good biscuit •Sauce packets are a bit small for wings. Some bigger cups being available would be great for large dipping foods. •Order got lost in cyber first time around •Unmistakeable food poisoning experience, kitchens should be as careful as possible. Food borne illness is dangerous and miserable.
Getting better, but I don't know if I could sacrifice quality by cheating on Lee's/Wingstop.
Thnx...
Read moreI went to get my son something to eat. One of my friends passed away today and I do not feel like cooking. I waited three minutes in the drive through. They didn't say hello or please wait or anything. I thought are they closed so I circled around and saw a car at the window and three in the lot. When I got back to the drive through 2 trucks had gotten in line and they greeted both of them right away. I got up there and again nothing for about a minute I said hello and he said how can he help me. I said I thought yall was closed for a minute I look at the screen realized it was completely broken and I said I'm sorry now that I have you and got up here and I'm not sure what I want. There was one panel busted but still working. And I was searching it but didn't see what i thought my son wanted. The man said oh I thought you were here for door dash. And I said what why would you think that. Now I do, do door dash and I've probably did a total of 3 or 4 orders from them and it's been 3 or 4 months since I did one. So I really felt from his tone he was just being "funny" and rude. So he says that's why I thought you were here. I said why do you think that and he went silent. I went in talked to the lady about it. She was very pleasant and said she would talk to them and both the gentleman with head setts were standing there and said nothing. And I told her they have ears they can hear me. It would have been nice if they responded or said something but they didn't. They just looked at me. I have never been rude to them ever so I don't know what that is all about but it...
Read moreChicken sandwich hype is real! THUMBS UP Service is sub-standard at this location. THUMBS DOWN
I stopped to try out the chicken sandwich at 7:45 PM on a Sunday night, very recently.
The drive-thru had around 7-8 cars waiting in line when I arrived. So I decided to order inside. When I got to the doors, I discovered one of their employees had locked all the doors. It was 7:52 PM and the sign on the door says their lobby hours are until 9:00 PM on Sunday nights.
So, fine. I get back in my car, get in line again (after losing 2 spots to other vehicles).
I ordered: 2 sandwiches and a 5 piece chicken only. What they gave me: 1 sandwich and a 16+ piece chicken.
I noticed the order error after I was taking off, and I didn't want to get back in the drive-thru line to fix things. I came out on top for value, but I really wanted that second sandwich.
The workers were mostly dismissive and zoned out. I would say they were acting very entitled, like they could treat their customers anyway they want because they have an item that everyone wants so badly.
I know it's fast food... I know it's not the best job in the world... but treat people well. The Golden Rule is so important in every industry, especially in the service industry.
I may try them out again sometime in the future, because that sandwich is really good. But who want's to deal with mistreatment in order to get that sandwich? The manager there needs to pull rank and get the workers motivated or hire in...
