This McDonalds location is terrible and it's consistently terrible. I came to the (2-lane) drive-through. 2 cars in the right lane, 1 in front of me in the left lane. They served 9 cars in the right lane and 0 cars in the left lane. After the 9th, the person in front of me began to get upset, understandably. It took him laying on his horn for 2 minutes straight for the person to ask him what he wanted for his order. After seeing that, I backed up and instead went inside to find a line of people waiting to speak to a manager, for one reason or another. I submitted my order and then asked the girl at the counter if they were aware that they were serving customer after customer in the right lane, but none in the left. Her answer was a mumble under her breath. I then asked her if she thought it was worth telling the manager or the people working the drive-through so it could be remedied. She mumbled "yeah I don't know". Ok, cool. I ordered various items but my final item was a 10 piece chicken nugget. I looked at my receipt, and sure enough, the sauces i asked for were on there, but no nugget meal. After receiving my order, I checked my wife's burgers to make sure they were ketchup only, like I asked and like the receipt said. Sure enough they were not. Read morePlaced an app order at 11:30 PM. Drove up to McDonald's at 11:40 PM. We had 1 vehicle in front of us. Didn't move at all for 20 minutes. We tried to call to see what the problem was and why 2 lanes were at a stand still for such a long time. The phone must have been off the hook, because there was a busy signal that didn't quit. Well we soon found out the reason, because when we were finally made it up to the speaker at exactly midnight, the lights turned off. So we drove right up to the go window to let them know, we placed an app order. The manager was extremely rude, told us "we close at midnight." We explained that on the website it said they do not close until 1:00 am. She was very flippant and told us, " we were not getting our food, she had already turned off the grills and fryers and there is nothing she could do about it." (mind you, this was at exactly midnight) She then closed the window and walked away. Some manager!!! Quite the plan she has going on. Turn off thr grills and fryers, make people wait in line for 20 plus minutes, turn off the lights, and you dont have service the customers nor do you have to work...
Read moreIts 3:49pm and we came to Mcdonalds in urbendale and ordered 2 mid. Frys and 2 regualer burgers and 2 drinks. At window # 1 we pay told them keep the nicke and no recpit thank you. Second window we pull up and this snotty younger gir came up and here you go.. grabed th drinks and befor they could stick them in there cup olders the mcdonalds worker spoke up and said can you pull up to..... Um yeah, can u pull (looked back) somewhere i dont onow whare just.. over there (pointed) there already was a truck in front of us waiting for there food. So we pulled off to the side and it was about another 12 min befor our food came out. Not a supper big deal but the girl behind the window was vsry rud and throwing a fit. I love mcdonalds um a fat kid always have. But she showed no team work her job is not to give explanations or come up with a story to tell me why.
