Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Battle Creek

I ordered an original sandwich with bacon and mayo and forgot to tell them to remove the veggies from the sandwich as I’m deathly allergic to onions, so upon getting the sandwich I realized my mistake, so I walk up to the counter to see what could be done and the blonde manager proceedes to give me a lecture about how if I don’t like something that I should automatically remember to have it removed bare in mind this is like my 6th time ever eating at schlotzkys so I’m trying to get used to the build she then goes on to tell me it’s gonna cost the store 8 dollars to replace my sandwich I’ve already paid for. Then when I told her I just wanted a refund she refused that and made a new sandwich and came out with an attitude and the entire staff was dirty looking me the entire time like I committed a felony. I do not recommend this location to anyone who wants respectful service and a good atmosphere. Definitely wouldn’t advise bringing your children here if she acts like this. I’ve been a regular customer there for years. As a vegetarian, I really like the avocado smoke cheesy sandwich. They discontinued it from the menu, but still made the sandwich for me. For some reason, the owner came out from the kitchen and very rudely exclaimed in front of all the customers that they were not going to make this sandwich anymore. This is the last one! So dumb. I spent a lot of money there eating there 2-3 times/week. Now they are going to lose about $2-300/mo. in revenue over a sandwich they can obviously very easily make. I don’t mind them not making the sandwich anymore but the rudeness was totally unnecessary. She could have politely explained why they can’t make the sandwich anymore, but she chose to be totally unprofessional. I won’t ever go back there again. The people who work there seem nice. I absolutely love Schlotzsky's. It's one of my favorite sandwich places. Today I came to this location and was disappointed to say the least. To make a long story short, I bit into my sandwich and bit into a piece of hard black plastic. Mistakes happen. I wasn't even that upset about it. I went to talk to one of the employees...and she didn't even barely let me talk. She snatched it out of my hand, interrupted me, and told the cook she "needed another bacon club sandwich made". I told her, I actually had a BLT, not a club. Which She would have known if She had listened to me for 30 seconds. She completely ignored me, and told me the hard black piece was probably an olive.
