Family owned ice cream parlor tucked away on Bay Citty's West side featuring house made, hand dipped ice cream. With 25-30 flavors being rotated through, there are plenty of reasons to come back again and again. Ice cream is a bit pricey at4.00/single, it is well worth the price with huge portions and the freshest tasting ice cream I have had in years. We'll worth the cost. Coolers, sundaes, and shakes are also available as well as hand crafted waffle cones

Exceptional! I’ve never had better peanut butter cup ice cream in my life. They put a ton of peanut butter ribbons in it and the flavor is excellent! They give you a ton of ice cream, and they’re so friendly. I can appreciate them being cash only as well!! So sad we caught them at the tail end of the summer, but cannot wait to stop here again next year!

Good selection, friendly service, generous portion, and most importantly great ice cream! We tried Mama's camel hump and Mama's English toffee and they are both very good. Camel hump is vanilla based with peanut butter and cookie dough, highly recommend! There are a few benches inside and tables outside to enjoy the treats.

Unique Mama Lupo only selections for the adventurous as well as standards for the traditionalists. Every choice pops the tastebuds with true flavor, not just sugary. overload. I had jalapeno mango, an amazing blend of savory and moderately sweet. Hubby had black cherry, brought back memories of Traverse City. Wonderful service, almost demand you taste before making a selection. Same price no matter the size for a "single," which is actually three generous scoops! I only wanted one, but took two. The price is reasonable, so not a big deal, and the ice cream is totally worth...

It's been a few years since we've visited Mama Lupo's. I'm sure they change flavors regularly, but at this visit, we didn't find anything that really tickled our fancy. I had lemon curd ice cream, and the hubbs had black cherry. He enjoyed his, but nothing special. Mine was OK. The cost per single cone was just over $5. For the price, I prefer other homemade ice cream options available in Bay City. The staff was very quick even though it was pretty busy. They offered samples, which I tried watermelon...
