We were super appalled when we went for a tour for a potential wedding ceremony venue and met Tony the "manager" He was super pushy and money driven, and upon finding out we didnt have any interest in having our reception with them proceeded to act like we were wasting his time, and only showed us the highest priced room (which was the one I was looking at online) because he would want to "save the other rooms that were having their full event with them". He then proceeded to quote us $600 more then what is listed on the website for ceremony, which is what initially brought us to Liberty Harbor, and claimed they wouldn't be able to use the room for the rest of the day even though website clearly states it's for a four hour block. As someone who works in a hotel that does weddings, I know turning over a room after a ceremony only takes an hour, so that clearly showed me he didn't care about having us and that we weren't spending enough money to be worth his time. Also upon asking about the outside location clearly listed on the website, He proceeded to sigh, and list all the potential negatives ending with "well we would have to get a permit and work with the city" As they clearly listed it on the website they were flexible for weather, what's the point on having it as an option if it's such a hassle and inconvenience for you to sell. Overall 10/10 Tony is 100% why we will not be booking with Liberty Harbor. The actual sales team I spoke to were lovely, but he clearly drove a stake in the coffin that we were not worth his time as potential clients because we aren't able to spend thousands of dollars in food. Therefore I suggest Stables buy a grand piano and embrace the lounge singer atmosphere you're management is trying to embrace. It's nice you hired Kristi, that's a plus.. Already a noticeable improvement in service, from some of the terrible service I've experienced in the past month. Kristy and Lindsay knew how to run the place.
