BoardWalk Ice Cream — Restaurant in Bay Lake

While vacationing at Orlando, we walked over to the Disney’s Boardwalk near the Epcot. The boardwalk itself is not that long, but it does have a handful of eateries, shops, and some entertainments. One of the eateries here that caught our eyes was the Ample Hills Creamery.

The inside is not so big, but hey, it is an ice cream shop. It was nice and bright, clean, and well organized. The staffs here were welcoming and upbeat, polite and fun.

They had a good amount of flavors, and they do make the flavors with the location of the shop in mind. They all sounded sooooo good! We got one sample after another until we finally decided…

You get to have two flavors in any size, or if want large, you can have more than two. I tell you, choosing just two flavors was hard… We finally decided on Ooey Gooey Butter cake, and Sally Sells Seashells. I really wanted to try Sally Sells Seashells, because this flavor is available exclusively at this location, and they get the salty chocolate seashells from right next door, Boardwalk Bakery.

The staff who was helping us asked if we wanted any topping like sprinkles and whipped cream. We said YES and YES!!! She gave us a generous amount of whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles as requested. And let me tell you, they were SOOOOOOO GOOD! My goodness the ice cream was to die for… I could’ve had a huge bowlful… It was such a treat, made our fun vacation...

My experience here was not the best, luckily their was a person here who later attended to me, but my experience was already ruined after patiently waiting 15+ minutes to get resolved, while with my small family.

really bad customer service, NOT PROFESSIONAL at all.

ISSUES !!! waited in line and stood at the "Order here sign", and requested help. While four employees looked over and avoided to say anything. While only one customer was already waiting for their order.

Young male employee attented to the person before me in line because of the female customer attractive attributes.

one of the young employees took my order, then I paid, to literally forget my order few seconds later, and I tired to get her attention, and she just avoided me.

ordered a strawberry shortcake, employee left the cake exposed to the elements in front other customers while customers came in and talked over the cup.

I really did not want to make this negative review, but the customer service experience, was so bad, I have not experienced this type of BAD service in years.

Advice: attend to the customer FULLY before attending another customer. It is super simple, especially if...

I got literally no words to describe how AMAZING! My experience was at this ice cream place. Yesterday, I went to this place for the first time with my friends and since the moment we got in, the staff was super friendly. They immediately notice about us and ask if we want to try any sample flavor. I don’t remember the name of the kindest woman who took my order, she was absolutely nice and sweet and careful about our experience. Since it was raining and we were a little wet, she offer all of us towels to dry ourselves, which I found very helpful. Then, about the ice cream flavors all of them were amazing, they have a lot of variety and unique flavors that taste great. For example, my favorite one was the ooey gooey flavor (not sure if it is correctly spelled) but it was sooo creamy and delicious!! A must for sure. Prices are also very affordable in comparison with the quality of their products. I highly recommend anyone to experience this place with family, friends or themselves. I am 100% you guys are going to love it as I did. PLUS! Cast members...
