Sarku Japan — Restaurant in Bayonne

I've eaten here before. The food is not worth the money. I get massages next door all the time and have to listen to the restaurant slam and bang things against the shared wall or drop heavy items on the ground. This is EVERYTIME I get a massage. I always thought it was someone in the spa banging but the therapist let me know that it's Sarku! Today, there was a loud boom as if something fell, so loud the therapist stepped outside to make sure no one was hurt. Do businesses have respect for each others establishments? It seems the noise would put a damper on the spa experience as a whole. Please be courteous to other establishments. It's not fair to the other business to tolerate inconsiderate noise that is just unnecessary.

Also, whenever I order a bento box, the Wasabi is dried up and there is literally ONE piece of ginger. They should close this...

Chicken teriyaki is amazing with the white rice and vegetables and I also love their chicken eggrolls …

I have ordered from this place many of times to delivery services and I have also been inside of the place twice. I must say that there was a time in the past when the food was truly a hit or miss but as of late the food has been well each time I’ve ordered it.

I decided to leave even though I’m gonna spare the details of what went wrong with my order. I added a note to my delivery and they made it for me and I appreciate that because I wasn’t even there and they still made it right. I’m not sure exactly which employee was but whoever it was, I wish that they would’ve wrote their name on the paper because I definitely would’ve gave them a stellar review, but I will also say that it says a lot about the person because they did not...

I’ve purchased twice from them before via Door Dash and the food was decent. Today, I went inside the store and ordered and I saw the store wasn’t exactly the cleanest but nonetheless I ordered. I take my food and when it was time to eat, I realized 3/4 sushi boxes I ordered were STALE. The rice was rock hard. The fish was not fresh. I called customer service and asked for a refund on my card and she told me she could not do so and I had to come back into the store today to get a full refund. I was unable to go back as I was not close to the store at all and did not want to waste time driving to and from. I have never written a bad review for anyone and this is my first one.
