If I could give negative stars I ABSOLUTELY WOULD! I order from here quite often,as it’s 1 out of 2 pizza places that actually deliverers in my area. I never had a problem with them until today. I ordered $40 worth of food & took a shower as i was waiting. I came out of the shower to a missed call which I assumed was the pizza guy. So I called back. A black lady answered the phone & gave me an attitude that “her drivers” tried delivering my food but I didn’t answer my phone. First of all, I’ve oredered from here several times..SEVERAL! Not once did they “call me.” They knock on my door, which I produce the room number every single time when I order from there. So after 30 more minutes of no delivery, I call back up there. Same girl answeres the phone that took my order & is extremely rude & tells me “my drivers are out, they’ll get to you when they can but it’ll be the same cold pizzas. To which I reply “um, okay??” Clearly not happy about being delivered old cold pizza at this point. & instead of offering a different solution, she says “ok then” & hangs up on me. I wait & wait & wait for my food to be delivered. & once again, it wasn’t. Now they’re closed & she said I can get a refund in about 6-7 business days. Out of all the times I’ve ordered from here, not once did I have to receive a phone call in order to receive my order. These drivers know where I live, it’s never a problem before. I’ve never had to deal with this from this company before. Surely the least you can do is reimberest me for TWO inconveniences & actually deliver my food the same way you’ve done for the last month at least once a week. Extremely frustrated at this point. I’m constantly doing a million & one things at time. You’d think a pizza joint who has delivered pizza to my house on several different questions could’ve done just that, instead of blaming my phone getting in the way of the delivery. Read moreThis Marco's Pizza Store used to be my favorite place to get pizza from, we'd order a specialty pizza every weekend with topping omitted, then different ones added. But they've went thru the store changing management and crew members over the last 11mths and they still can't make the food correctly. It's a shame too, cause they have great food, need more training of the new employees including management! But how do u get a customer's order wrong every time they order? Not understanding that one! Many, many, months later and this Marco's store still doesn't have things together and I miss eating their food, a fav of mines. But can't trust orders delivered most of the time. Why the drivers haven't been triple checking the orders, that falls back on the management's training them. &7So I feel when someone like me orders ordered tremendous amounts of pizza for 1-2 People to have, and all specialty or more than 4 items, check their prices and you'd see they're not cheap, but worth the money if made correctly. Having complained so many times to several different managers there over the last year. And it got to the sad point that one of them manipulated food putting a topping heavily throughout the pizzas that I can not eat. And told this to the manager at the time when was taking my order by phone. His irritation over me having a discount on the order may had caused his bad behavior. Read moreThis is on behalf of my father. He ordered a pizza last night, 02/04/2023 and was told it would be delivered at 6:30pm. His pizza didn't arrive until 9:30pm. Order #270. There was no apology for the wait and only an explanation that there was 1 driver. How is that my father's fault?! His pizza was cold and he missed running an important errand waiting 3 hours for a pizza. When they took his order they knew only 1 driver was on shift, right?
This isn't the first time he's had a late delivery but because the quality of the pizza from Marco's, in general, not this specific location, is excellent, he orders from them. I would like a manager to reach out to me so I can pass along his contact information for compensation, discount - whatever would be equitable regarding this terrible customer DISservice he received.
When he called the store directly regarding that previous late order, the very rude young man informed my dad that the problem was between him and the driver. How? My dad doesn't own a Marco's franchise, nor does he employ any Marco's staff. As the driver is employed by the franchise my dad ordered from, the problem is between the driver and that franchise! I was in shock by the response he got from this store!
