We had some issues with management Thursday evening. We had experienced some issues with DoorDash, which is a separate issue, and ended up, ordering directly from the restaurant after 2 attempts with DoorDash were unsuccessful We drove over to pick up our food, the staff providing our food was very friendly. we did not check our bag after receiving the food. We were exhausted after traveling all day and drove back home. After looking through the bag, we were missing one of the meals, unfortunately it was for my son who had been traveling for two days to get here and he was exhausted and tired. We did call the restaurant, letting them know that the meal was missing from the bag, that we did not have the energy to drive back over and pick it up and asked for a refund. We were given to the manager, who had a conversation with my son regarding refunding the amount of his meal. My son was probably a little edgy to be quite honest as he was tired and hungry from a very long day and was just trying to get reimbursed for the meal. The manager asked us how much the meal cost neither one of us knew off the top of our heads at which pt my son guessed approx $20, at that time the the manager laughed at him and said no it’s not that much and I said, sir, we don’t know how much it is without looking it up. He said something else which I don’t quite remember and then hung up on us without refunding us the amount. I did not bother to call back. I was just exhausted, frustrated and tired. I grew up in the restaurant business and I was taught that the customer was always right. If a customer is calling you and you know, there’s already been frustration that evening with obtaining the meal and they explained to you that they need a refund for food that you did not put in the bag. It’s a simple. I’m sorry for that. Let me go ahead and refund that amount Instead of laughing and questioning whether or not we knew how much it was. Perhaps that manager was having a bad day as well. Unfortunately, as much as I do love the food here I won’t...
Read moreFood was superb for myself. On the other hand, my husband’s beef burritos were cold, so he only ended up eating one. No biggie. Come to pack up the second one, I happen to notice a hair in his food. Definitely wasn’t mine bc #1 we sat across from one another and #2 it was a dark colored hair and I’m thankfully (at this moment) blonde. Actually wasn’t even going to make it a big deal until I brought it up to our waitress (who happened to be the only female working with dark long hair), and be like “I get it accidents happen but I found this”, but decided to tell me it was a white hair (insinuating it was mine) You could clearly see it wasn’t white and before she could walk off quickly with everything, I asked for it back to take a photo. Once she brought it up with her manager and they had a quick battle of words between themselves, she then returned with her hair back and a discount (definitely not bc they felt it was the right thing to, that’s for sure). I’m only writing a review souly on how the situation was handle. Definitely take a second look at your food...
Read moreWe both had the fried chicken chimichanga lunch which comes with refried beans and salad with guacamole and sour cream. The chimi was small but full of chicken and seasoned perfectly. I felt the guacamole had too much onion, but that is down to personal preference. The salsa was good, the chips were fresh and the service at lunchtime was super fast. It was a bit hot in the dining room, that is why I gave only three stars for atmosphere, but it's been hot in every store today. The only real negative is the price of iced tea is a whopping $4.10 per person. There was a sign on the door coming in stating that no alcohol would be sold on the premises until further notice, so my partner guessed that was why the tea was so expensive. Also, at the bottom of our bill there was s a notice that there is a 3.99% upcharge if you don't pay by cash. Javier was our server and was extremely competent and very nice. We will...
