I went through the drive thru on 7/30 around 4:50pm. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato for $3.89 but I was given a medium iced coffee. I didn’t really care and decided to take it instead of complaining. I took 1 sip and spit it out, it tasted like cleaning solution. My husband noticed a bug on the inside of the cup as well. I usually don’t care to return drinks if they are gross. But since it had a bug in it I was absolutely going to return it. I went inside with my drink and receipt. I asked for a refund and the cashier called the manager over. The manager didn’t even speak to me, the way she spoke to the cashier showed how irritated she was with me returning the drink. As she ignored me and showed the cashier how to refund me she never looked at my receipt. She never apologized or even acknowledged there was a bug in my drink! I had my card out to receive the refund but since she didn’t look at my receipt she gave me Cash. I pointed out to her that she shorted me. She only refunded me 2.80 when I paid 3.89. I again showed her my receipt and she said well I refunded you the money for the drink you brought in. I told her what I ordered and she replied with a nasty attitude. Well, that’s not what they charged you for. I replied I didn’t make the drink, and she replied look I’m just trying to tell you what they charged you for. I said I understand that I just want a refund for what I paid for. As she was giving me my change she noticed I paid with a card and made a comment if I’d seen you paid with a card I would’ve given it back to you on the card. I replied if you had looked at my receipt when I brought it in you would’ve noticed I paid on the card. She gave me my refund and completely ignored me. I am not one to call and complain but this was such a bizarre experience over something so simple. I called McDonald’s and filed a complaint. Read moreI placed an online order and went to go pick it up, and at the time there was only one car in the drive thru at the intercom. I pulled up to the other one and was told they would be with me in just a moment. 5 minutes went by until they helped us.
They helped the first person then me, we both pulled up and got our receipts then pulled up to the next window, me behind the first person. We waited for 15 minutes and still no sign of anything and I think they told her to pull up to the next window and immediately she started snapping her fingers and yelling for a manager and when someone came she started asking what was taking so long and where her food was, just like a few seconds later they gave her the food and she left.
At this point, I was already late for work and had to call and let them know I was going to be late. And when I pulled up to the window I was expecting my stuff to be ready since I had the online order and had already been waiting for over 15 minutes but no, I had to wait longer and when the lady opened the window and asked what I had (which was literally a sandwich, a hash brown, and a coffee) she shoved the bag of food at me then the coffee and shut the window.
Everything I come to this location I always have an issue, no matter what. If I don't have a issue then it's not normal. I wish I had a different one closer to me but this one is literally like 2 minutes from my house so it's really convenient but my God, do the people here...
Read moreRecently moved to the area and got out for a late dinner so either Taco Bell or McDonalds are both open this time of night- Taco Bell has a line around the building and McDonalds is deserted (I now know why)
From the time I paid for my sandwich combo to the time I received my food was over 12 minutes- you should once again note this place was completely deserted and I was the sole customer there
At least if they're taking this long it must be because they're making some fresh stuff right? If only I'd been so lucky
To start I ordered a large combo but they only gave me a medium drink which they didnt even fill up all the way or put any ice in (or at least the 2 cubes of ice they did put in melted by the time I got home)
The sandwich itself has a laughable amount of sauce on it that just looks depressing and is a lot smaller than I expected for being 8 dollars
But at the very least I got my hot out the fryer and newly salted fresh french fries Oh wait they're stone cold Like shockingly cold Like they may have put them in the fridge for a minute before giving them to me kind of cold
To top things off driving back home I went past the Taco Bell which was giving the last car in the drive thru their food... so... lesson learned I guess?
