Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Beaumont

The manager Abby is lazy and not a good fit for customer service. First, when we came in we stood at the front for 5min waiting to be helped. Then we sat down and ate, Im on my computer doing homework & my boyfriend asked for them to change the channel on one of their 4 tv’s to the NBA finals. 1 of the employees went to go ask the manager who had been sitting in the back somewhere, and she blatantly told him no. When my boyfriend came back to the table I asked why she said no, and he said he didn’t know, the employee just said she said no. So I told him there should be no reason she’s saying no when they have 4 tvs in here playing different things, like the weather channel. I told him he should ask why or I will, because what do you get out of not changing the channel? He got back up to ask again and all of a sudden the employee came back with the remote and was able to change the channel magically. So now it’s okay to change the channel, but before it was a no? Yea, that’s what I thought! We are paying customers, get your lazy butt up and accommodate your guests… what is wrong with you? Find somebody else...

Tried ordering via the app, but it wouldn’t let me sign in or create a new account!

Fortunately I was able to order over the phone no problem. But when I arrived at the drive through, the senior discount hadn’t been applied, so she had to re-ring it up.

I’d ordered the large extra-original with additional tomatoes and black olives. When I got home, it sure didn’t look or taste like what I’d expected.

Can’t comment on atmosphere, cause I went through the window. Service was not as friendly as previous visits, the lady at the drive through seemed like I was bothering her.

The napkins were crumpled up and thrown in the bag, unusable. If I decide to have another, looks like I’ll have to go inside and personally supervise in order to ensure the order is correct.

Usually these are the best sandwiches in town and I hope they can return to their former...

I normally love this place but my last visit was a disaster. I ordered my usual which is a medium ham and cheese original with no onions on jalapeno bread. I paid my $7.57 and then 30 seconds after, the cashier pops her head outside of the window and says she FORGOT TO INFORM ME THAT THEY WERE OUT OF HAM!!!! At this point, I should have followed my first mind and asked for a refund. She asked if I wanted another kind of sandwich. I decided to go ahead and get the turkey. I've had the turkey sandwich here before, and that's not what I was given. The lettuce and tomato were ALREADY wilted and there were nasty peppercorn all over the turkey. I feel like I was given a sandwich that was just around. It made me so sick, I still have not been able to eat anything else yet. This may have been the last time I ever...
