Pizza Ranch — Restaurant in Beaver Dam

Visited the Beaver Dam location though I've been to a few. This location was clean with a friendly staff (it's a buffet so not much interaction). This location has a fun zone arcade which was cool if you bring the kids. Pizza Ranch on the whole is a decent place to eat if you go when there is a special, like Tuesdays when kids eat free. I visited on a sat by myself and after a small tip paid $20. That's kinda crazy for o.k. pizza that (let's be honest) is really just a small step above frozen. To be fair there is a good assortment of non pizza offerings like the chicken and salad and the pizza desserts are good but still. I don't know if I've never been on a weekend or just never paid attention but the price shocked me a bit. Pizza was great and staff seemed friendly. My only suggestion would be to accommodate more to those who do not want to use the buffet. We prefer to just order a pizza for ourselves in case the one or two kinds of pizza we like are not being replenished. There didn't seem to be a way to do this besides entering it as a pickup order, so we didn't really feel welcomed to sit down and dine in. They didn't tell us where we should pick up the pizza so we went up to ask after about a half hour, got our boxed pizza, and left. For what we spent the entire experience was subpar at best. The app doesn’t work, neither does online ordering. I had to load and reload the webpage 3 times before I was able to place the order. We got a few different things because we wanted to try it out. One in particular was the bone in wings. We paid $13 for 8 which is comparable to the other locations around town however, the wings are tiny (and that’s being nice).
