I was at Mario's Woodfired Restaurant back in April. It is located on 3rd Street in Beaver which is such a beautiful, quaint and scenic town. My lunch group consisted of my daughter, myself and two others. Two of the people in my group had eaten here before but this was my first time. The restaurant has a cozy feel to it as it is nestled between many other businesses that line the street. The first thing I noticed on arrival was the outdoor tables and chairs that looked like a nice little cafe type of setup. It was a gorgeous afternoon and people were eating outside. We were quickly seated inside the crowded restaurant which isn't that large or roomy. I ordered the gnocchi and meatball which was just okay. The spaghetti sauce had a different taste to it but it was definitely edible. My daughter ordered the chicken marsala which was a very big disappointment. The sauce was as thin as water and tasted watery also. I know the chicken marsala did not get eaten. I also tasted it and didn't like it all, and that is my favorite thing to eat. Another at our table enjoyed a pizza. I thought it was decent. The last one in my group ordered something like shrimp ravioli, which they really enjoyed. The waitress was just fine. Average. I believe we had to pay extra for rolls/bread, salad and something else that eludes me at the moment. Personally I think it is a real turnoff when for example you go out to dine and try to have a chill experience and everything you order is a quarter more for this and a dollar more for that...Petty... Just tell me the final price. Don't nickel and dime me over everything. So when the waitress asked if we needed take home containers or foil...I had to ask her how much extra it would cost us. Personally I will not be returning to dine there. I thought the food was subpar and overpriced. I appreciate the fact that it is a dry town. I guess it's also nice that you can BYOB if desired. The business is laid out in such a way that it accommodates a person in a wheelchair, however, it is a small place that is very cramped and crowded. I certainly wouldn't want to have to try to maneuver a wheelchair there. There is adequate free street parking right outside the door. Overall it...

Have never been treated more unprofessionally in the service industry. We came to celebrate a new job and enjoyed a nice meal and some wine that we brought. Immediately following finishing our meal we were told we reached our time limit and had to leave. We explained that we were wrapping up and waiting for our ride. We watched the manager, owner, and host talk loudly about us. The owner then rudely told us we were ordered to leave. He shouted that we were waiting his money and we must not “give a shit” about his business. When I said that I would probably never come back he said that he didn’t need business from customers like me. He proceeded to approach us at the front door as we waited where he said he didn’t need 22 year olds telling him how to run a business. Have never been treated like that after politely and peacefully enjoying a meal. I don’t recommend this place and would suggest give business to other small business owners as this man clearly only views his customers as money and wants you out of there asap. All of the hostess staff were embarrassed of this grown man’s behavior and anger towards two...

My husband and I tried Mario's Woodfired Pizzeria for the first time yesterday. We've lived 5 minutes away for the past 15 years and have no idea why we hadn't before. After our experience, we will DEFINITELY be back and, hopefully, often! Yes, it's loud in there but it wasn't really a bother to us. We had the bruschetta as an appetizer and it was so good! That can be hit or miss at places and this was a hit! I had the Gnocchi Gorganzola with Shrimp and my husband had the Linguini with Mussels. Both were delicious though he kept stealing my gnocchi! The portion size was generous enough, however, that I still brought some of mine home! Our server, Jaden, let us know in advance that, during our visit, there were some computer issues and that all the tickets were being created and filled by hand. She forewarned us of possible delay. I find that to be excellent service to keep one's customers informed like that. Despite her concern of slower service, however, we did not notice lapse in expediency. 5 stars are duely earned by both the establishment and Jaden. (I'm sorry if I'm spelling your...

This was my first time here, and overall it was pretty good and I'd come again if I'm in the area. They do not take any reservations, we went a Saturday group of 4 at around 5:30 and only had maybe a 10 minute wait. The place isn't massive so it makes sense why waits could get longer. Overall the service was good. We ordered a Large Napoli Pizza and Chicken Parmesan. The Large pizza is only maybe 1 inch smaller than the Small Pizza. If your getting a pizza to share with someone you should just get the small since there isn't a massive difference. The Napoli pizza was delicious and they had a ton of pizza options. The chicken parmesan was good, it's not the best I had, but for the price I thought it was worthwhile. They had a lot of pasta dishes as well and had something for everyone. Id go back for trying a different pasta and pizza for sure. Overall they have a large menu with many options for anyone. I was also told they are BYOB we forgot to bring wine or a drink so I am unsure what the cooking fee would be. Overall good experience and hopefully I will be in the area soon to try again.

I ordered takeout and received very overcooked spaghetti. Now I used to love this restaurant and I’ve never had issues here, but the way they handled this problem is so horrendous that I’ll never return. After getting handed off to several people I was told a manager would not be helping me because they were “too busy”. I was told to call back at 8pm. Why should the customer have to wait almost 2 hours, until far after dinner time, for a restaurant to fix their mistake? A manager literally would not speak to me! I told them I wasn’t ok with their “resolution” and they refused to do anything else! You’ve lost a customer for life and I will be telling the story of my experience today often and to as many people who will hear it. This restaurant has always had terrible service and acoustics but this is a new low. Your manager needs fired! In my 15 years of management experience I’ve NEVER refused to speak to a customer. I would NEVER make them wait two hours to fix a mistake! Shame on you, Mario’s! Here’s the photo of my food in the trash where it belongs.

I called today to make reservations for tomorrow because I saw on their website that they take reservations if you call. I waited until they opened & whoever answered the phone was extremely rude. She kept arguing with me that they don’t take reservations & I told her “well the website says otherwise” and I offered to email her the screenshot. Again, she continued to argue with me and told me “we don’t take reservations & we don’t run the website or have a public email so I don’t know what to tell you”. She was so rude and so unaccommodating. It’s NOT my fault that their advertising says otherwise. Maybe “whoever runs” their website site needs to actually provide accurate information so customers don’t have to deal with their rude employees. I have 0 interests or intentions to ever spend my money here since this is how they treat interested customers. Screen shot of the website below with the accurate phone number and address…
