Sassy Bowls — Restaurant in Beavercreek

We really love smoothie bowls and were excited to try this new place that's closer to us and cheaper than Frutta Bowls! The hummus toast was DELICIOUS and the BLT was pretty good. Unfortunately, of our 3 bowls (2 acai, 1 pitaya) all 3 were totally frozen bases. It was almost like water had been mixed with the fruit base and then they had been frozen. My pitaya was like a Hawaiian shaved ice and I was only able to break off very tiny pieces, which would instantly turn to water on my spoon. I never got a solid bite of the base. :( My husband's acai eventually became the typical smoothie bowl "thick yogurt" consistency and he was able to enjoy his. Even with splitting the two bread items first and letting it sit, my pitaya remained a frozen chunk I was unable to eat. The toppings were very good though! DONT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. Ordered two smoothies. One for my daughter and one for myself. At order I asked if they added anything in the smoothie. They said they did not. I returned the smoothie halfway through after I realized that they added some type of sweetener with a horrible aftertaste. I returned it to be told that they cannot remake it because it was half full. A young white girl(that was not on the clock) denied my request any threw her arms up and said I, I can’t help you I’m not even on the clock. Horrible customer service. The smoothie tasted like medicine. The aftertaste of the artificial sweetener is strong. I am curious as to why you add sweeteners to fruit smoothie. Sassy Bowls was delicious! My fiancée and I went there this past Sunday to get an Acai bowl and a sandwich to split. The Acai bowl had plenty of toppings to choose from and was very refreshing. I got the club sandwich which did not disappoint either. The bread was toasted perfectly, along with everything else on it that tasted amazing. I definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

I noticed some of the reviews on here mentioned that the store said opened yet no one was working, but it should be noted that the store has changed locations to The Greene Town Center in Beavercreek, OH just across from the American Eagle store.
