Love going to the Greene to go shopping or to go to the movies. They've got about anything that you need or want to shop for there, from high end to budget stores. They also have several restaurants and bars that should give everyone good choices to choose from. The movie theater is awesome! It has luxury recliners that are adjustable, heated if you want, and also have a tray for your food and drinks. They also have food, not just snacks and candy, and beer! 😁 They also have several screens ( rooms/ movies) to choose from so you have many options for the movie that you can watch. Oh, and has nice big clean bathrooms so you usually don't have a long wait unless, there are a lot of little kids there. Make sure to go before the end of the movie! Anywho, I just love this theater. 😍 Oh, and the Greene is just off of 675 so very easy to get to. 😃 If you love walking around outside hopping from store to store, getting a great meal and having a couple of drinks, then this is the place for you. Just make sure that you have a designated driver if you want to go to over indulge in one of the watering holes. 😎 Don't want anyone getting hurt or worse after getting behind the wheel drunk. 😜 Be safe and enjoy the Greene and all that it has...
Read moreIt's the nicest mall in Dayton, but it's really just ok. It doesn't look bad, and is well cared for, but it's just kind of boring. It's all very flat and very obviously planned, and I can't even bring to mind what any of the buildings look like, just that they're maybe generically non-offensive looking.. there is a space in the center for entertainment, but it feels like more of an afterthought or obligation than an integral part.
It houses many of the 'big' restaurants and shops which you won't find anywhere else in Dayton, which is really the main draw of this mall. There's not a ton of variety in the shops overall.
The main downside of this mall is the traffic. For all it's planning, it doesn't seem like there's a good way to just park and walk to the shops. You have to drive through the middle of the mall, contending with other cars from every direction and hoardes of pedestrians, just trying to find an open lot, then when you do finally park, you have to walk through a dozen crosswalks, trying not to get hit by cars. Makes you wonder if the cheesecake factory is worth it. But I...
Read moreThis is a fantastic place to take your wives guys! Unfortunately you probably aren't going to make it out of there with all your cash though. Who can really put a price on the wife's happiness though? Remember, happy wife, happy life... They do have some good stuff for us guys, but there aren't any gun and knife stores, I didn't notice any large television sales and I don't believe they have a hooters restaurant. Like I said though, the women seem to really love this place. I do not intend to be offensive or rude in any way, as I love to shop also. These shops are just more geared towards female shoppers. Myself, being a male, lack any and all sense of fashion. If it weren't for my wife, I would probably be mistaken for Punky Brewsters father. All I know is I walked away nearly two grand poorer, but had an extremely happy wife and daughter... at least till I started ttalking.Lol All joking aside, the there are a lot of very nice shops at The Greene, with a great selection of top named labels and...
