Steak 'n Shake — Restaurant in Beavercreek

Couple things: -No booths were cleaned when we came in at 4 pm on a Saturday and we were the only people inside besides another couple. -Only 2 of the 4 kiosks worked. Others had put of order signs that looked like they've been on the machine since it was built. -After our order the lady came out and told us the shake machine didn't work so we had to get a refund for that. -After cleaning a both ourselves we sat down and noticed the floor on our side of the room was chipped and broken and not even in a normal wear and tear way. Like the chunks of floor that were pulled up were still laying there on the floor and hadn't been swept. -Friend went into the bathroom and then immediately came out saying they would rather just wait instead of risking getting ever disease known to man. -After awhile we noticed that there was no actual cooking going on in the kitchen. Just the same lady walking around moving things around the dining area like cups and ice. (she wasn't cleaning tho.) -After 30 minutes we asked if our food was coming and the lady looked shocked that we had ordered anything other than the shakes. She said it should be out soon then went to the back and dragged a younger guy out of the back area who then started cooking. -Another 15 minutes and then our food was ready but to call it our food would be misleading because not a single order out of the 4 of ours was right. Cheese on the steak burger that was ordered with no cheese, onions on another burger that was ordered with no onions, all of it was just wrong. -Tried to find the lady to ask about getting it fixed but both employees disappeared into the back and couldn't be found.

Please eat at any other location or restaurant. This is not...

I was passing through Dayton and was hungry for a quick burger. As I was waiting for my order I had placed at the counter along with about 12 other people in the restaurant. The manager or manager on duty anyway, comes out of no where yelling at the customers demanding who threw trash away in the trash can receptacle when there apparently hadn't been a trash can inside of it. KAITLYN was her name. She exclaimed how it was extremely rude for someone to do, and carried on for about two very uncomfortable minutes shouting about the incident. She then went behind the counter into the kitchen where you could plain as day hear her swearing, using the F word multiple times about what she had just discovered in the dining room trash can. A woman had to tell her that none of us were the culprit as we were obviously all STILL patiently waiting for our food on this very busy Friday night for the restaurant. I've never met such a rude and negative human being working in customer service that was so outrageously inappropriate. I truly do hope someone higher up sees this review and fires this employee because her behavior was beyond unprofessional, beyond unacceptable, and beyond fixing. She is not a nice person and wasn't just having a bad night, her co workers looked miserable working with this woman. If it was bad enough for me to remember, now the next day after this has happened and still feel it's only right to write a review about..it was pretty darn bad!! The other manager on duty, a black gentleman with a bald head remained calm during their rush and kept the restaurant going in my opinion. The restaurant needs more...

I don't know why I keep going to this place. They only had 2 servers, no one to great you at the door or to seat you. So we had to stand and wait while the server cleaned the table and delivered food to tables. Then we got a table. We should have left. But I wanted a milkshake. She took our order, and the order of the people next to us. We sat their for half hour and the people next to us got their food and drinks, and the people round us got seated and their orders taken. We still haven't gotten our drinks. We finally got our server. She was like oh my they must have erased your order, I will put it in again and talk to the manager and see if he can do something about the bill. I said no we will just leave, the manager came over and ask what the problem was? I said we was here for over 45 minutes and the server said they erased our order so that's why we didn't get our food, I ask why didn't we get our drinks? He was all upset and said people called in and he was running the drive thru. So he couldn't be up front to see what was going on. I said if they don't give you enough people to run a store especially on a Saturday night then that's poor management. People was leaving and said they would never come back. After all that, the food sat in the window until it got cold. My milkshake was like water. After all that we still gave our server a tip, because it was the right thing to do. But we won't ever go back and if anyone ever ask about that place I will tell them never to go their. It's not the workers fault, it's the people that...
