"Good sized portions and not a bad value for the price." With the drink it was less than $12. Dining area was clean and not overly crowded with tables. Food was excellent. I ordered the chicken fried rice and a side of gyoza. I was surprised at the amount of chicken you got. There was a bed of fried rice and in a white Styrofoam take out container, and lined all the way across of half of the container was was the teriyaki chicken slices. There was also a whole fried egg and two gyoza on the other side. I ate my fill, and I still have enough left to take for my lunch at work tonight. No servers, you order and then you take it to your table to eat. However, the counter person, an older Asian man, who may have been the cook and/or owner, was very courteous and answered all my questions. This was my first visit, however I will definitely visit again, earlier in the day though, so I can take advantage of the $7 teriyaki chicken lunch special. One thing I would improve would be to offer hot Chinese tea. On a rainy, gray day like today, that we have so often here in the greater Portland area, that tea would have really hit the spot. They have Coke products on the fountain. There is also a cooler with assorted bottled offerings...
Read moreSome of the best teriyaki bento I've ever had. I didn't feel ill or anything afterwards too, which is usually the most important thing I consider. Place isn't super fancy or anything, and could be a bit cleaner, but overall very good experience. I think this place would be great for take out and weekly lunch runs. Fresh egg rolls are the best.
Update: When I got food from here again, I placed a phone order because I was on a tight schedule. It took me about twenty minutes to get there only to find out they gave my order away to someone else. I had to wait another 15 minutes or so before my food was ready again. One of the employees offered me some vine candy for the mistake, and I laughed a little and just left with my food. I was late to my meeting at work because of it. My suggestion to the business is to use customer phone numbers instead of names to identify orders to help avoid confusion. Food was still really good though.

Read moreThe old teriyaki place that was here was great, we use to go here all the time. Then it changed management. Walked in the door to a nice new space and thought it would be great. Unfortunately... NOT! First, the menu was sub-par. Not a lot of selection, most of my favorites were gone under new management. Second, the food sucked. It was tasteless, chewy, and not at all appetizing. After eating part of it I threw it in the trash and went to McDonald's for a better meal. Third, the staff was rude. I mentioned the new space and new management when I first walked in and was told "Ya, it cost an arm and a leg, and the customers don't even seem to care". Why would you tell a customer that? I asked then, since the menu was so different, what food they recommend? The response I got was "I'm suppose to tell you all the food is great, but in truth, I don't eat here.". I will never set foot in the place again. I wish the old owners...
