This is kind of pedantic but important nonetheless; my breakfast sandwich almost cost me $30. There's a cashier here who will pull some fast ones on you so watch your accounts. The first time she got me, she gaslit my friend and I into paying more than we needed to for 3 breakfast sandwiches and didn't give us a receipt. So I pulled back around and went in to ask for a receipt and why the order seemed confusing, she explained things in a way that still did not make any sense but I left because it wasn't worth it to me at the time to argue much longer about biscuits. But this time, I ordered ONE sausage egg & cheese. I asked for her to charge my bank card $3 and I had cash to give her for the rest of the total. She asked for 35 cents which I thought was weird because I should have owed $1.29, so I asked again if she actually charged the $3 to which she DEFINITIVELY REPLIED YES. I checked my bank account when I got home to realize she charged my card for the whole $4.29 and took the change from me for some weird reason. There was no receipt in the bag but I only had $3.91 in that account so I was about to be overdrafted for absolute nonsense. I obviously called the restaurant to explain what happened and said I'd be there shortly for them to refund the $4.29 to my debit card.
The manager was upset and argued with me that I should've known they do not take split payments and insinuated it was my fault for losing money. I didn't know they don't take split payments and the cashier said absolutely nothing about it when I pulled up to the window! She just happily took the card and cash together!🤷🏾 I asked the manager what the cashier (Rosa) did with the change and he just shrugged at me. Eventually he went through the motions of swiping my card to put the money back in my account and I just paid the whole owed amount with cash I'd brought from home. Customer service was absolutely awful and I do not think he would have refunded the money if I didn't offer to pay the amount in cash and be done with it. Honestly the whole situation could and should have been handled differently. I'm beyond appalled at the behavior of the staff at this location; I'm really at a loss for words...and I feel I'm owed an apology for the interaction at the very least. This all seems petty, which is why they probably get away with these weird little transactions all the time. My advice is to CLARIFY THE PRICE OF YOUR ORDER AND ASK FOR A RECEIPT! The fact I was scolded and treated like I was stupid was not cool. Obviously I won't be coming back to this location and I'll recommend you...
Read moreI want to share my deeply disappointing experience with the Carl’s Jr. located at the corner of T Highway and Murray. As a business owner myself, I understand the critical importance of customer service, which made my visit all the more disheartening. Unfortunately, this location appears to suffer from extremely poor management, and the way I was treated made me feel as far from a valued customer as possible.
On Tuesday, around 10:40 PM, I approached the drive-thru window with a few items to order. Rather than ordering at the microphone, I decided to place my order directly at the window, as there were no other customers in line. However, the employee attending to me, Flor, greeted me with a level of frustration and disdain that was shocking. Her demeanor was unprofessional, and her body language made me feel as though I was a burden simply for being there.
Flor proceeded to reprimand me for not ordering through the microphone, implying that I was making the process unnecessarily difficult. She informed me that it would “take forever” to serve me and then refused to sell me anything, stating it was already late. Despite the fact that the restaurant closes at 11 PM, she insisted that she would not take my order.
I calmly offered to go back around and order through the microphone to avoid any issues, but even then, her tone remained condescending. She begrudgingly allowed me to proceed but continued to exhibit hostility, including a dismissive remark about how many coupons she would accept, ultimately refusing to take any at all.
This behavior was unacceptable. It was clear that Flor neither enjoys her job nor understands the fundamentals of customer service. No customer should ever feel insulted, dismissed, or unworthy of respect simply for placing an order.
Whoever owns this franchise should take immediate action to address the management and training at this location. Experiences like this tarnish the reputation of the Carl’s Jr. brand. There are many other dining options nearby that offer far superior service, and I will certainly not be returning to this location. I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant if you value being treated with dignity...
Read moreI would have given this place a better review but I didn't because this location parks people too much. I've spoken to other Carl's Jr employees at different locations and they say that they aren't allowed to park unless the order behind is ready. I see them parking up to 3 people at a time which includes me sometimes. I think they probably do it because Carl's Jr probably offers bonuses to managers if they are within probably the top 3 when it comes to times. It's ridiculous considering it's sometimes raining or the temperature is in the 100's and they want to risk the health of their employees just so they can have good times. Especially when all it does is stress the employees out and especially when I'm waiting sometime longer, whether it be because it gets busy, they forget me, give my order to the wrong person which requires them to remake it and I'm waiting even longer then. The quality of the food and happiness of the customer should come first. But the employees are all really nice and accommodating. They deserve some kind of recognition and I'm talking monetary. Plus the food is really good too. I recommend the tenders and the...
