This has been my favorite pizza place for the last 30 years. Usually, I get one pizza a week. Recently, about a year ago, when they became a "Clubhouse" the prices of pizzas went up like $6 which makes one of my favorites Pepperoni and Pineapple now $32 for an extra large. If you fill out the survey on the receipt you can get $5 off. But with tip, it is still quite expensive. They had one manager Bob for years but then he was transferred to another store. After 10? years of Bob being gone and many managers and quality control sporadic, Bob has been back for maybe the last 3 months. While he was gone, I would be told up to 90 minutes for the pizza I was picking up and the phone could ring over 20 minutes when someone may pick it up and hang up the phone or put phone on hold for 20ish more minutes. They were always short staffed. Bob being back makes Round Table Pizza the pizza that I fell in love with. Bob was barking out "third ring" as he was helping all the customers in line. My wait has never been more than 30 minutes since he came back. OVER 30 Years: Tables in dining room never cleared, always dishes on at least 3 tables, and sometimes nearly 80 percent of tables. Bob being back has saved Round Table Pizza. I remember maybe 15 years ago, it was closed for remodeling for maybe a month. To bring back business, June thru late August, all pizzas Large sized were $10. No gimmicks, no coupons, did not say only on Wednesday between 1 to 2 pm. When open, ALL pizzas $10. I find myself dreaming about the day that Bob does this again, even though word is spreading fast that...
Read moreThe first time I tried ordering from this location during operating hours the phone rang endlessly without being answered. After the 4th call someone finally answered and said they weren't able to take orders, computers were down. Fine. So a week later, I try again. After being on hold for several minutes then being hung up on, I order online. Delivery says 45 minutes. I'm pretty patient, but when we almost hit the two hour mark I decided to call and check. The gal first tells me the website doesn't quote delivery time accurately, but then she says she can't find my order and thinks it went to another store. I'm looking at my order information while I'm on the phone, and verify the address and phone number their website says order went to is in fact their store. She can't look up the order by my order number either which is weird. She says they can Re enter the order, but when provided with my address says I'm "out of our delivery area that's why we didn't get the order." Again, I'm looking at their website where it shows my address and the store the order went to- theirs. She acted like they couldn't bring me the pizza that I've already paid for. After being placed on hold they either figured out I am in their service area, or decided they could make it happen and go ahead and bring me my pizza. Well.. as we approach the 3 hour mark since I ordered, I still haven't seen the pizza. Store is less than ten minutes down the...
Read moreUPDATE 9/21/24 Delivery is not what it used to be. Remember when pizza places would guarantee delivery within 30 minutes? Well, apparently not any more. The last 3-4 times we've ordered from here to deliver, it's taken anywhere between 1.75 - 2.25 hours! We only live around ten minutes away, which we would go to pickup but when adults are drinking, pizza sounds good. Sober? Not so much. Anyway, if you can get someone on the phone, you'll notice you're more of a nuisance than a customer. I guess that's the way the world is today, though. I can take bad customer service edecit, but for $63 for two pizzas (a large and a medium), I expect it to be delivered within an hour.
This place is one of the more common chains you will see here in the North West. It's grouped in with the typical Pizza Hut, Dominos, and other similar places, but it shouldn't be. Round Table is quality pizza. Instead think Godfather's or Bellagios.
Round Table has been one of my favorites for a while and its because their recipe is unique to the others. You can taste it. I've had a lot of luck with this location providing great flavor and quality consistently. Only once or twice have I noticed that the pizza might not be as "crisp" as it usually is. This place has never been late or over the 45 mins it usually quotes.
It's not cheap pricing, yet not as much as Godfather's and Bellagios. Its just solid pizza....
