Words cannot express how glad I am to have visited Mill End Fabric Store! My mom and I are trying to sew my wedding dress and have been feeling very disheartened, having difficulty finding a good-sized bridal fabrics department, let alone the perfect fabrics and lace for the dress. Our trip to Mill End yesterday changed everything. What a huge selection! The head of the bridal department, Jane, was an absolute angel. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. She helped us find the perfect lace and coordinating trim for us to use as appliques. My eyes literally welled up with joy when I saw our vision coming together with the perfect lace and fabric finds. Additionally, Jane so kindly gave me an instructional handout for veil making, and helped us search for clear sequins and tulle that matched the lace we picked out. Not only this, but she called the other location to check if there was additional stock of another fabric we wanted AND offered to special order the fabric for us. I have never experienced such attentive, patient, and overwhelmingly kind customer service in my life. Jane was such a pleasure to work with and talk to. The cherry on top was the wonderful service we received from Melissa checking out at the register. Everyone at Mill End Fabric Store is an absolute gem and I am so thankful for their kindness...

I made a moderate purchase here today and I was delighted to walk in and see such a lovely selection of fabric and notions. I found absolutely everything I was looking for here for the project I'm whipping up, even things I wasn't expecting. I'm removing stars because I've never felt like such an inconvenience for purchasing fabric at a fabric store. One employee in particular looked at me like the scum of the earth for asking for a few cuts of ribbon. The cashier kept their back to me for over a minute while I stood at the register waiting to be checked out, and they had watched me walk up, also treating me like I was bothering them. I'm really disappointed because I felt unallowed to be excited about a hobby store that, at face value, seems wonderful. I just couldn't imagine being such a grump while selling craft supplies. Went in looking for lace but a huge amount in one piece. 13 yards. They said they had the one I want they had to grab it and would send it for free to store near me. Yes one big pice 10 yards or so but other store had like 4 something yards so be ok. Alright. Go home. Call another day to double check on yards. It's in 5 pieces of different sizes. I specifically said had to be one piece and you said was one piece. Advised did not want. Go to store near me pick other lace. Said have to get from this store, they call to see how much they have in one piece need 13 yards. Ohh have more than that all 1 piece will ship to the store. Get to this store again lace in pieces. So this store TWICE does NOT check when asked if have material in what condition and length. Twice. For a customer asking not for when the store called and asked for it....
