Rancho Grande Méxican Grill — Restaurant in West Virginia

Asked if lunch was still available and was told yes. My wife pointed her choice on the lunch menu and I told the waitress I wanted the same. We were served dinner portions which was $5 more for each dinner which was one taco more and rice each. My wife originally wanted chicken and we just gave up and accepted beef. When we checked out we told the man at the register and he used the computer as the excuse saying we ordered during lunch, but dinner time rolled over and it was dinner prices. He took a small % which reduced the bill by $6, but later discovered a checkout fee of $2.00. Who charges a checkout fee to a customer to take your payment? Food tasted good but I won't be going back. Plenty of other restaurants that don't try so hard to...

Ordered a beef Taco salad, when I got home it was full of clear liquid which made the shell fall apart. The second time I ordered was only because on Mondays the sign said Taco salads for 4.99. I ordered one and ask to strain the liquid out and he argued with me it was cheese which brings me to the rudeness of the people there ( also heard this from other people). When he rang the salad up it was 7.48, I thought it was 4.99, he said it is but we charge 1.00 for the togo box and 1.00 for the chips. I will never go to that place again. RUDE...WATERY TACO SALAD...AND WAY TO EXPENSIVE. Inside was 3 to 4 people both times, how do places like this stay...

The service was great. The tortilla chips were good. The food was average. The prices were average seemed like your average Mexican restaurant. The only problem, and the reason I will not return is the portions. We had a party of 4 all ordering different meals. I'm a big guy 6 foot 240 but my wife and two teenage daughters are slim and dont eat nearly as much as i do. Every one of our meals looked like they came of the children's menu. We did not complain at the time I will just tell anybody who asks my experience. Terrible value...
