1.) I thought McDonald's was supposed to be food with a value. Why can I not swap out the fried potato for an oatmeal? Why is that such an impossible thing? But instead, to get my oatmeal with my breakfast I have to spend extra money and yet my doctor tells me I cannot eat fried potato type food. Ergo it goes to waste and it takes extra money, thank you McDonald's 2.) Why is it that I can go to any truck stop and fill up my entire thermos with coffee for less than $2? But I go to McDonald's and they don't seem to have a clue how much to charge me for my thermos. Almost every McDonald's I go to we have the same conversation. I asked them how much they want to fill up my thermos. They make a major issue out of it by talking to their management. Most of the time the management tells me they will charge me for two large coffees. Then, incredibly, the same thing happens at almost every McDonald's I go to. The person serving me pours the two extra large cups of coffee into my thermos, this does not fill up my thermos and they look at me in ask me for my money but they have not filled up my thermos. I bring this to their attention and they say well we will have to charge you for another coffee then. I did not ask the server for two large cups of coffee, did I? I asked, simply, how much money do you want to fill up my thermos. 3.) And now this place, they charged me an additional money for my oatmeal when all they had to do was swap it out with the potato which I will not be eating anyway and then they charge me for a drink of water. The manager explain to me why they no longer give out cups for water and I guess I understand that. None the less, this is the bottom line, I paid $9.27 for a meal that would have cost me way less at other restaurants. At Denny's restaurant for example, for about $8 you will get two pieces of bacon, two eggs, two pieces of toast and grits or hash browns. Of course a cup of coffee would cost a little bit extra. But you tell me which restaurant do you think I want to go to? I'm about finished with going to McDonald's 4.) The manager seem to me to be...
Read moreThis is what I sent to the company's complaint site: I never complain about restaurants. Never. But this McDonald's location was the filthiest McDonalds I have ever been in, and I have visited your restaurants all over the world. I took my kids there and after I ordered I realized what a hell hole this place was. I am not exaggerating when I say that there was not a clean surface in the entire store. Everything I touched or saw was sticky, greasy, or otherwise disgusting. Not a single table had been wiped off. It was obvious that most of this filth had been there since at least the previous day. There were no napkins anywhere to be found. The trays were sticky and nasty. Flies were everywhere. There was garbage under all of the tables. It was disgusting and, like I said, this was not a case of a mess left after a big group of people had just left. This place was weeks-deep in filth. At this point, I feel so sick just thinking about it that I may never go to any McDonald's again. This place was truly a disgusting nightmare. I didn't dare look at the bathroom. If the health department showed up, I hate to think what they would find. I'm just hoping we don't all get food poisoning. I should have just left as soon as I first saw the condition of the glass in the doors (filthy), but I didn't realize just how deeply, offensively, disgustingly nasty the place was until we already had our food. I know this sounds over the top, but it was the worst fast-food experience of my life. And that is saying something. Please do something about this place before others have to endure...
Read moreWent for my usual slop stop, munchie stop around 11PM on this particular night. Was expecting the usual par mcdy's order. In complete contrast, I received quick and efficient service at the drive thru window. I usually order the fish filet meal with 2 extra cheeburgers on the side. I arrived to the second window to get my food and could tell things were already looking up, the bag was warm from the food being cooked so fresh. I immediately and classically, tested my fries. They were piping hot and crispy and delicious, almost didn't need ketchup but that would be an added treat. My fish filet was not assembled beautifully lol, however, it was frickin' delicious! I've had worse fish sandwiches at a gourmet restaurant. This was just a perfect one with a generous dollop of tartar, the odd, half slice of cheese and a hot, tasty whitefish filet. Lastly, my 2 cheeburgers. The first one I bit into was probably the best cooked mcdy's cheeburger i've had for 10 years, yes a whole decade. It was perfect, I always throw fries on my mcdy's and this was no different. The beef was almost sizzling when I first bit. Absolutely divine Mcdy's experience. Kudos to the night team on August 9th, 2018 around 10:30-11:00PM eastern...
